  • The MLB season rolls on Tuesday with 15 games
  • Player props are available for many of the league’s biggest stars
  • See below to find out where we think the betting value lies

Tuesday means another 15-game MLB slate is on deck, but unfortunately there are no matinee contests to quench our thirst for an afternoon sweat. The action doesn’t get underway until 6:40 pm ET, but with every big league team set to take the diamond, there are no shortage of player props available for us to bet at FanDuel.

All odds as of May 18th.

Prop #1: DJ LeMahieu 2+ Hits

The first prop to target is two or more hits for Yankee second baseman DJ LeMahieu. New York’s leader in hits is fresh off a multi-hit performance on Monday, and has produced at least two hits five times in the past two and a half weeks.

30 of LeMahieu’s 43 hits this season have come against right-handed pitching, and he has absolutely owned Texas starter Mike Foltynewicz over his career. LeMahieu is 11-for-18 lifetime versus Foltynewicz, while the Rangers’ righty has been smacked around lately allowing at least seven hits in five of his past six starts.

Pick: DJ DeMahieu 2+ Hits (+115)

Prop #2: Hyun-jin Ryu Under 5.5 Strikeouts

The next prop to target is under 5.5 strikeouts for Blue Jays starter Hyun-jin Ryu. His K/9 rate is down over a full strikeout this year, and his fastball velocity is the lowest its ever been (89.5 mph). He’s already faced Tuesday’s opponent Boston once this season, and he managed just two strikeouts over 5 innings.

The Red Sox meanwhile, rank third in the AL in runs, and strike out at a below league average rate. They’ve been especially tough on lefties this season, producing a .282 batting average, and a .794 OPS in 429 at-bats.

Pick: Hyun-jin Ryu Under 5.5 Strikeouts (-136)
