Odds as of June 25th.

Burnes Slowing His Pace

Milwaukee Brewers right-hander Corbin Burnes rates among the top-10 pitchers in the NL in strikeouts with 108. His total strikeouts for this game are set at 8.5.

He went over that total each of his first seven starts this season, but has done so in just two of his last five appearances and neither of the past two. That’s including a six-strikeout performance June 18th against the Colorado Rockies.

Both Milwaukee’s Christian Yelich and Colorado’s Raimel Tapia are solid bets to get a hit in this game. Tapia is batting .350 (3-for-4) lifetime against Burnes. Yelich is slashing it at .368 (7-for-19) when facing Colorado’s Jon Gray.

Picks: Corbin Burnes under 8.5 strikeouts (-115); Christian Yelich 1+ hits (-208); Raimel Tapia 1.5+ hits (+185)

Taking Perez Deep

New York Yankees designated hitter Giancarlo Stanton has faced Boston Red Sox left-hander Martin Perez seven times and is batting .429 (3-for-7). Two of those three hits are home runs.

Yankees first baseman Luke Voit has faced Perez nine times. He’s hitting .333 (3-for-9). Two of those three hits are home runs.

In the other dugout, Boston shortstop Xander Bogaerts is tied for third in the AL with 84 hits. He’s a lifetime .417 hitter (5-for-12) against Yankees right-hander Domingo German.

Red Sox DH JD Martinez is right behind Bogaerts with 83 hits this season. However, he surrenders to German. Martinez is batting a paltry .091 (1-for-11) against him.

Picks: Luke Voit 1+ home run (+320); Giancarlo Stanton 1+ home run (+250); Xander Bogaerts 1+ hits (-250); JD Martinez under 1.5 hits (-250).

Make A Play On So-So Soto

On the surface, when it comes to Juan Soto this season, all bets are off. The Washington Nationals outfielder is slashing  .277/.402/.432 with just eight home runs in 62 games. He’s grounded into an NL-high 12 double plays.

Last season, he was .351/.490/.695 with 13 homers and arguably the best hitter in baseball. When he faces Miami Marlins right-hander Pablo Lopez, he looks like the Soto of old. Soto is batting .471 (8-for-17) with two homers off of Lopez.

Pick: Juan Soto 1+ home run (+475)
