Lebron James have been wanting the Spurs for almost six years, well, he’ll have them this Thursday when the Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs clash in the NBA finals this Thursday.

“After that Finals he probably always obviously wanted to get back again, I think he probably always wanted to get back and play them,” Dwyane Wade said. “So obviously having this opportunity right now is probably something he always dreamed of, of getting back to the Finals and playing the Spurs again.”

Lebron and Cleveland lost to the Spurs in six back in 2007. San Antonio is listed as the underdog for this series +180 and the Heat as the big favorite to win the Championship -230.

The Heat won both they met this season, but both teams rested star players in both cases, so there is no way to use that as measurement.

Tony Parker is the worst possible matchup for the Heat in these finals. “They just wanted to see what I was made of,” Parker said. “I didn’t even realize it was for that. I was just trying to do my best. I was happy to do a workout for an N.B.A. team.”

“Tony knows that we’re going to go to him, and he’s going to have a load of big possessions, and he’s really using it wisely,” Manu Ginobili said. “Even though you pass it early, when the team needs you, they’re going back to you. The volume of possessions makes you better, more confident, and that confidence is everything.”

The Heat is the favorite, but the matchups are all over the Spurs side.  Take them with the +180 moneyline to win the series.
