  • A wild 8-game NBA slate is on tap for bettors on Wednesday, December 29th 2021
  • We’re getting two of those games on national television beginning with the Los Angeles Lakers and Memphis Grizzlies at 8:00pm ET
  • See below to find out some of the best player props to bet on tonight

Wednesday night could go down as the greatest night in NBA betting history. Eight games means everything is on the table in terms of straight bets, parlays and obviously player props. If that doesn’t get you jacked up, you may need to get your pulse checked.

Of those eight games, two of them are going to be nationally televised. That’s almost 25% of the games! NBA TV is the spot again with the Los Angeles Lakers and Memphis Grizzlies at 8:00pm ET followed by the Dallas Mavericks and Sacramento Kings at 10:30pm ET. There has to be a few player props out there we can smash!

There are more unforeseen roster changes in the NBA than any other sport. Because of that, many books are reluctant to post player prop lines too early in the day. For that reason, not all of the teams in action tonight are included in the table below. Scroll down to see the lines that are available and a couple of best bets.

Odds as of Dec 29th at FanDuel & DraftKings

Eric Bledsoe Can Still Play

Every team in the NBA is facing availability issues. Not just one guy either. We’re talking entire starting fives. Literal whole teams are just not available which is something we’ve never seen before. You could look at it as a negative thing or you could see opportunity. The players that are actually playing definitely have to be seeing this development as an opportunity.

One guy in particular that fits this description is Eric Bledsoe of the Los Angeles Clippers.

If you asked me how old I thought Eric Bledsoe was I’d say 46. It feels like he’s been around forever – but he’s only 32 and if you’ve been watching his last few games, he can still ball. It’s a good thing because Reggie Jackson, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are all on the shelf.

Bledsoe has started and played at least 28 minutes in each of the last three games. In those games, he’s been scoring and dishing like it was 2012 all over again. He even double doubled against the Denver Nuggets the day after Christmas. The books are going to catch up at some point but judging by his points plus assists number at FanDuel for tonight, today is not that day.

  • The Pick: Eric Bledsoe Over 20.5 Points + Assists (+100) – FanDuel

Ingles Is Pure Fire

Staying with the theme of guys getting action due to other guys being out will lead us right to Joe Ingles. Normally he’s the rock of the second unit for the Utah Jazz generally tasked with facilitating. But with Donovan Mitchell being out, he’s running with that starters and playing more of a shooters’ role.

If you’ve ever seen this guy play, you know he’s pretty much as pure of a shooter as you’ll ever see.

So it’s only been a game with Mitchell on the mend but Ingles took 10 shots in that game and scored 17 points. The thing is, he did the same thing at the end of last season when Mitchell was out so I’m pretty confident that’s how the Jazz will play it again this time around. Mike Conley should run the offense while Ingles just bombs threes.

If that happens again tonight, our guy should score at least 12 points.

  • The Pick:  Joe Ingles Over 11.5 points (-120)
