The Miami Heat (32-29, 13-19 away) will be looking to grab their first win since the All-Star break on Monday as they visit Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wells Fargo Center. Tip-off for this Eastern Conference showdown is scheduled for 7:00 PM ET. Keep reading for the Heat vs 76ers odds.

Miami has lost four in a row and just fell to the lowly Charlotte Hornets on Saturday. The Sixers also came out on the losing end last time out against the Boston Celtics with no shortage of drama at the end of regulation. We’ll elaborate more below.

Heat vs 76ers Odds

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Miami Heat +6 (-110) +210 Ov 216 (-110)
Philadelphia 76ers -6 (-110) -255 Un 216 (-110)

Philly, who tends to thrive as an ATS favorite with a 27-17-1 record, is laying six points at home here with steep odds of -255. The Heat sits at +210 and has gone a disappointing 6-15 as a moneyline underdog. This is actually the first meeting of the campaign between the two rivals, but in 2021-22, they both won two games apiece.

Heat Need to Turn It Around Quickly

Jimmy Butler made it crystal clear after the All-Star break that it’s time for Miami to turn it around in a hurry and find their best over these next 20+ games. But so far, it’s been the exact opposite.

First, the Heat were blown out of the water by the Milwaukee Bucks, who lost Giannis Antetokounmpo in the first quarter to an injury. Then on Saturday, Erik Spoelstra’s squad failed to produce against a Hornets squad at the bottom of the standings.

Miami had to claw back from a 22-point point first-half deficit but never really managed to take control, failing to score over 110 points for the second straight game. Tyler Herro dropped 33, while Jimmy Butler added 28. Outside of those two, there was minimal offensive output. It also didn’t help that the Heat shot a measly 31% from long range. With 2.5 games separating them and the sixth-place Knicks who hold the final playoff berth, it’s time for this team to dig deep.

Philly is in Good Shape

Outside of Saturday’s loss at the hands of the NBA-best C’s, the 76ers are playing quality basketball. They’re 7-3 in the last 10 games and had every chance to beat Boston. However, Philly did falter. Doc Rivers’ squad allowed Jayson Tatum and Co. to come back from 15 points down in the third quarter, with the Celtics superstar ultimately draining a game-winning three with seconds left in the fourth.

Joel Embiid then hauled a full-court bomb that swished through the hoop, but it left his fingers too late. Nevertheless, the Cameroonian big man made his presence felt, balling out for 41 points and grabbing 12 boards. James Harden also contributed 21 points and dished out eight dimes.

The Sixers didn’t give up in the final minutes of the fourth, with both teams exchanging blows. While the team may have failed to collect the victory, Philadelphia proved its worth against a serious contender they will likely need to go through if the NBA Finals are going to be a reality in the coming months. It just comes down to keeping their foot on the gas pedal for all 48 minutes.

Heat vs 76ers Prediction

It’s only a matter of time until Miami ends this cold skid. But, it won’t be on Monday. Philly is 24-9 at home while the Heat is 13-19 on the road. Plus, both of the 76ers’ wins over Butler and Co. last season came by more than six points. Lock in the spread.

Pick: 76ers -6 (-110)
