Bombs Away
There is no denying that Joe Harris’s role with the Nets is to shoot the three-ball. Over his past six games, he has taken at least eight threes on four occasions and never less than six in any of the games. Even better, he’s hit at least four three-point attempts in four of those six games. At this point, he’s not just a good three-point shooter, he’s a great one.
Joe Harris is attempting 6.7 three-pointers per game. He’s shooting 50.9% from 3.
In 2004 Ray Allen took 6.8 three-pointers per game and shot 39.2% from 3./ In 2005 Kyle Korver took 6.8 three-pointers per game and shot 40.5% from 3.
What Joe Harris is doing is historic.

One area of concern for the San Antonio Spurs defense tonight is the three-point line. In all of the NBA, only three teams are worse at defending the three-ball than the Spurs. At home, they are even worse, allowing opponents to drill over 40% of the long range attempts. If that shoddy defense shows up tonight, Harris could hit this number by halftime.
- The Pick: Joe Harris Over 3.5 Three-Pointers Made (+116)
Steven Adams Does Everything
Since coming into the league, Steven Adams has always been a smooth big-man. He’s often hidden in plain site as his identity is sometimes masked by his ability as a strong scorer inside and ferocious rebounder. But for those paying attention, they’ve seen flashes of his ability as a passer.

His passing ability is paying dividends in New Orleans because in his last three games, Adams has had at least three dimes in all of them. He’s a willing passer surrounded by able scorers – so it makes sense.
There’s reason to think he will keep racking up the assists tonight against the Jazz. They may be tops in the league in opponent’s assists per field goal made, but that doesn’t apply to opposing centers.
In their last five games, no enemy center has had less than two assists against them. Three of them had more than four. This feels like a good spot for Adams to collect two or more dimes which will cash his assists total.
The Pick: Steven Adams Over 1.5 Assists (-140)
