The Sixers and Heat meet for an Eastern Conference showdown, but MVP candidate Joel Embiid could miss out due to an illness.

• [6 pm EST] Joel Embiid (illness) is questionable for the Sixers as they face the Heat. He missed Philly’s last game as well
• Two key rotation players for the Knicks in Derrick Rose (ankle) and Reggie Bullock (ankle) are doubtful for Spurs matchup
• [7 pm EST] Grizzlies big man Jonas Valanciunas (back) is questionable vs. Kings
• [7 pm EST] Heat forward Jimmy Butler (eye) is questionable to suit up vs. Philadelphia

May 13th Projected Starting Lineups

Bucks vs Pacers Projected Lineups

Milwaukee is rolling, posting a 7-3 record in their last 10 games. As the postseason nears, they’re also at full strength. The Pacers on the other hand are still dealing with their fair share of injuries. Jeremy Lamb, Malcolm Brogdon, Myles Turner, and Edmond Sumner are all out for this contest. Aaron Holiday is questionable.

Magic vs Hawks Projected Lineups

Four players in total have been ruled out for Orlando on Thursday. Terrence Ross, James Ennis, Otto Porter, and Michael Carter-Williams. Atlanta, who dealt with numerous injury problems just a few weeks ago, are very healthy right now after clinching a playoff spot on Wednesday. Cam Reddish (Achilles) is their only absentee.

Clippers vs Hornets Projected Lineups

The Clippers are only missing Serge Ibaka (back) on Thursday as he continues to recover with the hope of returning for the postseason. Charlotte is still without star Gordon Hayward (foot). The Martin brothers are out, while Miles Bridges (COVID-19) is in the league’s health and safety protocols.

76ers vs Heat Projected Lineups

Joel Embiid (illness) is questionable for this marquee matchup with the Heat after missing Tuesday’s loss to the Pacers as well. Expect Mike Scott to get the start again. Matisse Thybulle (hand) is in the same boat as Embiid. It was announced on Wednesday that Victor Oladipo would undergo season-ending surgery, so Miami will be without him for the rest of the year. Jimmy Butler (eye) is questionable.

Spurs vs Knicks Projected Lineups

Derrick White (ankle) and Trey Lyles (ankle) are both out for San Antonio. For the Knicks, Derrick Rose and Reggie Bullock both suffered ankle injuries on Tuesday against the Lakers. They’re both questionable here, along with Alec Burks (knee).

Kings vs Grizzlies Projected Lineups

Harrison Barnes (groin) and Marvin Bagley (groin) are both doubtful for Thursday’s meeting with the Grizzlies. De’Aaron Fox (COVID-19) is out. Memphis center Jonas Valanciunas (back) is questionable, while guard Grayson Allen (abdomen) is out.

Nuggets vs Timberwolves Projected Lineups

The Denver backcourt remains thin with Will Barton (hamstring) and PJ Dozier(groin) out. With that being said, there will be more minutes for Austin Rivers again. Monte Morris will rest on Thursday, while Jamal Murray (knee) is out for the season. Minnesota’s only absentees here are Malik Beasley (hamstring) and Jarrett Culver(ankle), who is also sidelined for the rest of the year.

Raptors vs Bulls Projected Lineups

With the Raptors out of contention, they will rest Kyle Lowry, Fred VanVleet, and Chris Boucher on Thursday. Meanwhile, Rodney Hood, Aron Baynes, Paul Watson, Pascal Siakam, and OG Anunoby are all sidelined due to various injuries. Chicago could be without starting PF Daniel Theis (hip), who is listed as questionable. Backup guard Tomas Satoransky (ankle) is doubtful.

Trail Blazers vs Suns Projected Lineups

The Blazers have won five straight heading into this meeting with the Suns. They also have no new injuries to report. Nassir Little (back) is the only player listed as questionable. As for Phoenix, Abdel Nader (knee) and Cameron Johnson (wrist) are out.
