Philadelphia 76ers Betting Trends
The 76ers are a hurting bunch as they play host to the Nets. Last week against Utah, Embiid scored a career-high 59 points and added 11 rebounds, eight assists and seven blocked shots. He became the first player in NBA history with 50 points, 10 boards, five rebounds, five assists and five blocks in a game since blocks became an official stat in 1973-74.
Embiid is averaging 32.3 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 4.6 assists this season.
Nets vs 76ers Prediction
This will be the return of former 76er and three-time NBA all-star Simmons to Philly and he can expect a hostile reception. He’s coming back off a season-high 22-point performance against Memphis. That was the first 20-point game for Simmons since he was with the Sixers in the 2021 playoffs.
Both of these teams have gone over 100 points in each of their past 10 meetings, yet the over is just 6-4 in that span. The favorite is 1-4 SU and ATS in the last five Nets vs 76ers games.
