The Phoenix Suns tip off with the Brooklyn Nets Sunday afternoon at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York (3:30pm ET).

The Suns are coming off of a 99-86 nationally televised beatdown at the hands of the Boston Celtics Thursday night. Meanwhile, the Nets fared better against the Celtics on Friday, night winning 109-104. Kevin Durant sat that one out but could be ready to play in this game.

Brooklyn has dominated this series recently, winning five of the last six meetings. The latest was a 128-124 beating as 8-point underdogs back on February 16. The books are expecting this trend to continue as the Nets are two-point favorites in this one. As always, there are plenty of props to consider.

Odds as of April 25th

Joe Harris Flying Under the Radar

The forgotten man in Brooklyn is Joe Harris and it’s not close. When you share a court with Kyrie Irving, James Harden and Kevin Durant, it’s understandable. But for those watching Nets games, it’s hard to tell the story of the 2020-21 Nets without mentioning Harris. He’s just always seems to be in the right place at the right time.

Harris has always been a great three-point shooter but this year he has taken his game to another level. He’s shooting a career-high 48.3% on the season which is one reason he’s averaging a career-high 14.5 points. Harris is also in good form as he has scored at least 14 points in four of his last five games.

Kevin Durant is likely to play in this one, which is why this number is so low but Durant could be on a minutes restriction. Even if he’s not, Harris can still produce. In Durant’s last game against the Hornets, Harris dropped 26 points on only 12 shots from the field. Look for Harris to hang at least 14 points today.

  • The Pick: Harris OVER 13.5 Points (-102)

Bridges is Stepping Up

With Jae Crowder going down, the Suns will need others to step up. In Crowder’s first full game on the shelf, the Suns opted to go with a smaller rotation only playing 10 guys. That opens up more opportunities for Suns’ players. The one that is most interesting is Mikal Bridges.

In his last three games, Bridges has scored at least 15 points. All three of those games saw him take at least 11 shots, which bodes well for today. In the only game that Crowder didn’t suit up, Bridges tossed up 16 shots. In the other two, he was able to get up 11 which is about where we want to be on 13.5 points props.

On top of the added shots, Bridges’ minutes have been shifting in the right direction as well. Last time out against the Celtics, he was on the floor for 44 minutes. If the Suns opt for a similar rotation today, Bridges should go over his points prop for the fourth game in a row.

  • The Pick: Bridges OVER 13.5 Points (-102)
