No. 1 Gonzaga (19-0, 10-0 WCC) will attempt to extend three streaks when it concludes its season series with San Francisco (10-9, 4-5) on the road at 6 pm ET on Saturday.
The Bulldogs are seeking to become the first team in NCAA Division I to reach 20 victories this season, and with a victory would extend their two-season winning streak to 24. Gonzaga has won 20 straight over the Dons, and they are the overwhelming favorites once again.

Gonzaga is second in Division I scoring margin (plus-23 points per game), third in assists (19.3 per game) and seventh in assist/turnover ratio at 1.6:1.
The ‘Zags also dominate the KenPom ratings. They are No. 1 in adjusted efficiency margin ahead of Baylor and Michigan and they rank second to Iowa in adjusted offensive efficiency. Gonzaga No. 5 in adjusted defensive efficiency. Alabama is first, Baylor is third.
Gonzaga and Its Embarrassment of Riches
Gonzaga presents so many problems because it has so many weapons. Senior forward Corey Kispert and freshman guard Jalen Suggs are consensus first-round picks in the 2021 NBA draft, according to draft projections, and Suggs is ranked among the top five on three draft boards.
Kispert leads the WCC with a 19.5 scoring average, and sophomore center Drew Timme is second at 18.9. Guards Suggs(14.4), Joel Ayayi (11.3) and Andrew Nembhard (9.3) are among the WCC leaders in most major offensive categories.

Timme leads the WCC in field goal percentage at 62.5 percent and Kispert is second at 56.5. Kispert leads with 57 3-pointers and is first in three-point field goal percentage at 48.3.
Suggs is first in the league in steals at 2.18 per game and Nembhard is first in assist/turnover ratio at 3.5:1. Ayayi and Timme are 4-5 in rebounding. Ayayi has one of 11 triple-doubles in Division I this season.

San Francisco Will Play Its Second Game Following a Coronavirus Stoppage
San Francisco has played only twice in 23 days, both losses. It was forced to postpone three games because of COVID-19 issues in its program before a 76-68 loss to Pepperdine on Wednesday.
The Pepperdine game was its first after a two-week pause following a home loss to Saint Mary’s on Jan. 23. Pepperdine scored 51 points in the second half against the Dons and overcame a 13-point deficit.

The Dons’ leading scorer, 6-2 senior guard Jamaree Bouyea, suffered an apparent leg injury in the first half of the Pepperdine game and played only five minutes in the second half. Bouyea, who averages 16.7 points per game, had four points against the Waves.
Junior guard Khalil Shabazz (16.2) had 20 points against Pepperdine. Shabazz and Bouyea rank third among WCC pairs in scoring. Gonzaga’s Timme and Kispert are first.
