Saint Louis Billikens Betting Trends
Saint Louis is just one one 19 NCAA teams with three victories. Granted, those victories have come against Central Arkansas, Harris-Stowe and Eastern Illinois, not exactly a Murderer’s Row of NCAA roundball powerhouse schools. Regardless, every win counts the same.
Through those three games, the Billikens are certainly making their points. Saint Louis is third in the nation in scoring offense (103 ppg) and scoring margin (+50). The Billikens also rank seventh in the NCAA in assist-turnover ratio (2.35) and rebound margin (+20.7).

Redshirt freshman guard Gibson Jimerson is leding the Billikens in scoring. He’s averaging 18.7 points per game and has been the top scorer for Saint Louis in all three games. Former Memphis player Jordan Nesbitt is second in scoring on the Billikens. He’s averaging 13.3 ppg.
Sophomore guard Yuri Collins is fourth in the nation in assists per game with 9.3. He posted his first career double double (14 points, 12 assists) in the season-opening win over Central Arkansas.
Memphis Tigers Betting Trends
Two games into the season, the Tigers are living up to their billing. The defending NIT champions began the year with victories over Tennessee Tech and North Carolina Central.
Much-hyped forward Emoni Bates was named the American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Week for his performance in the two games. Starting both games for the Tigers, Bates scored 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting against Tennessee Tech. Bates finished with 15 points in the win over North Carolina Central.

Fellow freshman Jalen Duran posted a double double (10 points, 10 rebounds) in the win over North Carolina Central, even though he went without a point through the first half. The Tigers limited North Carolina Central to 26.% shooting in their second game (17-65) and 12.% from 3-point range (3-25).
Memphis ranks second in the NCAA in block percentage this season at.300. The Tigers have blocked 24 of their opponents’ 80 two-point tries. They blocked 11 shots in the win over Tennessee Tech and 13 in triumph against North Carolina Central. According to KenPom, Memphis is 11th in the NCAA in average height at 6-foot-6 2/3.

This will be the 59th all-time meeting between the Billikens and Tigers. Memphis holds a 32-26 edge in the series. Saint Louis hasn’t won at Memphis since 1994.

Arch rivals for many years, the two schools were conference mates in the Missouri Valley Conference, Metro Conference, Great Midwest Conference and Conference USA. Memphis coach Penny Hardaway was 2-0 as a player for the Tigers against the Billikens.
The Tigers have won nine straight games at FedExForum. They are 45-7 at home under Hardaway. Memphis has won 35 games in a row when shooting 50% or better from the field, a streak that stretches back to shooting 54.4 percent (31-57) in an 87-74 loss at Cincinnati on Feb. 23, 2017.
