The 2021 College Football season is heading into its final stretch, and there’s no shortage of action on tap for Week 10. The loaded slate on Saturday, November 6th features several games with betting value.

Wake Forest will look to stay unbeaten in an ACC clash with North Carolina, while Ohio State and Nebraska faceoff in Big Ten action. Over in South Bend, the Fighting Irish are heavy home favorites over Navy.

Here are three CFB ATS picks to consider for Week 10.

Wake Forest vs UNC Odds

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Wake Forest Demon Deacons +2.5 (-110) +120 O 76 (-110)
North Carolina Tar Heels -2.5  (-110) -140 U 76 (-110)

All odds as of Nov 3rd at DraftKings

Pick #1: Demon Deacons Beat Up Tar Heels

Wake Forest will be looking to stay undefeated when they travel to North Carolina to face the Tar Heels in Week 10. Dave Clawson’s team was just ranked 10th in the initial CFP rankings and will want to prove they belong in the playoff conversation. The Demon Deacons are coming off a 47-7 win over Duke.

UNC will look to play spoiler against Wake Forest in Chapel Hill on Saturday. The Tar Heels have fallen out of the playoff picture with three losses, but they still have the chance to win the ACC Coastal division. Both these teams boast lethal passing attacks, but Wake Forest holds an edge in key areas.

QB’s Sam Hartman and Sam Howell can both sling the rock, so this game is going to come down to turnovers and the ground game. The Demons Deacons rank top-30 in both sacks and interceptions, while UNC falls outside the top-70 in both categories. Howell has thrown interceptions in three straight game and will likely get picked off by this feisty WFU secondary.

Notre Dame just exemplified a recipe for betting this North Carolina team when they gashed the Tar Heels for almost 300 yards on the ground in a convincing Week 9 victory. Wake Forest has three rushers with over 300 yards in Christian Beal-Smith, Justice Ellison and Christian Turner, who will penetrate UNC’s weak defensive front.

Wake Forest has been the better team all season and has more to play for Saturday. They’ve covered the spread in four of their last five games as underdogs and offer value to do it again Saturday. This is truly a game Wake Forest should be favored in, so consider playing them on the moneyline as well.

  • Pick: Wake Forest +2.5 (-110)

Ohio State vs Nebraska Odds

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Ohio State Buckeyes -14.5 (-110) -675 O 65 (-110)
Nebraska Cornhuskers +14.5  (-110) +475 U 6.5 (-110)

Pick #2: Buckeyes Torch Cornhuskers

Ohio State will look to continue their dominance of Nebraska when they travel to Lincoln to take on the Cornhuskers in Week 10. The Buckeyes have won the last two meetings by an average of 33 points. OSU has reeled off six straight victories, covering the spread in four of those contests.

Nebraska is trending in the opposite direction of Ohio State, suffering three straight losses at the hands of Michigan, Minnesota and Purdue. The Cornhuskers are in danger of not being bowl eligible, and coach Scott Frost is on the hot seat. The Buckeyes want nothing more than to put the final nail in that coffin.

There’s value with this CFB betting line due to some overreaction to Ohio State’s close 28-23 win over Penn State last weekend. The reality is the Buckeyes had several errors in that game that aren’t likely to be duplicated this week. They uncharacteristically only scored one TD in six trips to the red zone and hurt themselves with seven false starts.

Ohio State has way more offensive weapons than Nebraska and should bounce back with a convincing victory. Cornhuskers QB Adrian Martinez has never beat Ohio State and is coming off a tough performance in which he was picked off four times. OSU has an elite pass rush (3.6 sacks per game) that should limit Martinez’s dual-threat ability.

Nebraska has been getting torched through the air this season, which is going to play right into the hands of CJ Stroud and his talented receivers. Look for the Ohio State’s defense to bring the pressure all game long on Martinez, while Stroud lights up Nebraska’s secondary en-route to a big road win.

  • Pick: Ohio State -14.5 (-110)

Navy vs Notre Dame Odds

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Navy Midshipmen +20 (-110) +800 O 47.5 (-105)
Notre Dame Fighting Irish -20  (-110) -1375 U 47.5 (-115)

Pick #3: Midshipmen Cover Against Irish

Navy is listed a heavy 20-point road underdogs in South Bend against the Irish in Week 10. The Midshipmen have only managed two wins this season, but they’ve been playing some solid football lately, covering the spread in five of their last six games. Ken Niumatalolo’s team has the rushing attack and defense to keep it close again Saturday.

Navy ranks No. 43 in total defense and held Cincinnati to a season-low 271 total yards of offense on Oct. 23rd. The Midshipmen have been able to bottle up some talented running backs, and should have a game plan for ND’s Kyren Williams. The sophomore is the heart of the Irish offense, pacing the team with over 700 rushing yards.

Navy has been able to keep games close by controlling the clock and establishing their ground game.  Navy ranks fifth in the FBS in time of possession (35:30 per game) and features four players with over 200 yards rushing. They should be able to control the game tempo against a Notre Dame rush defense allowing 136 yards per game.

The Irish have played well during a three-game winning streak, but this is just a case of too many points. ND has struggled to contain mobile QB’s like Sam Howell and Desmond Ridder, and that’s exactly what Navy’s Tai Lavatai brings to the table. Look for the Midshipmen to keep this game close on the strength of their triple-option offense.

  • Pick: Navy +20 (-110)
