With a high number of ranked games on the docket, Week 6 represents a great opportunity to search for value on betting the under on college football player props. Since their names are often in the headlines, sportsbooks tend to inflate quarterback passing yardage totals. CJ Stroud, Stetson Bennett, and Caleb Williams under their passing yardage totals are all intriguing bets.

Jordan Addison Receiving Touchdowns

USC head coach Lincoln Riley’s offensive attack is one of the most explosive in the nation. Led by quarterback Caleb Williams and his favorite target Jordan Addison the Trojans rank 10th in the nation at 42.2 points per game.

This pairing has been devastating in the red zone, as Arizona State last week was the first team to hold Addison scoreless. The junior wideout only had 8 catches for 105 yards. The fact of the matter is when Caleb Williams needs a play, he looks for his top target. Moreover, Washington State allows an average of 291 passing yards per game. Look for Williams and Addison to exploit a weak Cougars secondary on Saturday night. The Biletnikoff award winner will have plenty of opportunities to score in this one.

Pick: Jordan Addison OVER 0.5 receiving touchdowns (-140)

Michael Penix Jr Passing Touchdowns

Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr has been a revelation in 2022. The Huskies pivot leads the nation with 1733 passing yards so far this season, and ranks fifth with 16 touchdown passes so far.

The luxurious lefty has electrified the college football world and could enter the upper echelon of quarterbacks in this year’s NFL draft. In fact, many are speculating Penix Jr. could be the riser in draft circles. He displays the anticipation, timing, and accuracy to be successful at the next level. On Saturday, he’ll face an Arizona State defense allowing an average of 4.3 opponent touchdowns per game.

Penix Jr. should have no trouble slinging darts past a vulnerable Sun Devils secondary. Take the value on the over here.

Pick: Michael Penix Jr. OVER 2.5 passing touchdowns (+130)

Zach Charbonnet Rushing Yards

UCLA running back Zach Charbonnet is off to a hot start in 2022. The senior Bruins back is averaging 16 rushing attempts and 104 yards per game so far in 2022. Head coach Chip Kelly has leaned on his bruising back to carry the load, and it’s worked. However, No.11 Utah provides a significant step up in competition for the Bruins.

Utah allows 143 yards per game on the ground. However, the Utes have allowed exactly one 100-yard rusher so far this season, Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson all the way back in Week 1. Since then, the Utah defense has stifled opponents leading rushers. Indeed, the Utes have held their opponents’ top backs to 27, 31, 30, and 44 yards respectively the last four weeks. Take the under here and smile when Utah sprints out to an early lead.

Pick: Zach Charbonnet UNDER 85.5 rushing yards (-115)
