NCAAF Week 6 Odds: Spread, Moneyline & Total for All Ranked Teams

• The Auburn Tigers are 6-0 against the spread in their last six games
• The Michigan Wolverines are 1-7 ATS in their last eight games
• The total has gone over in all five of LSU’s games this season

Week 6 of the NCAA football season gives us a clash of traditional southern rivals.

The Auburn Tigers and Florida Gators head into a huge SEC tilt both sporting perfect 5-0 records. Even though the game is in Gainesville, the #7 Tigers are 3.5-point favorites at #10 Florida.

There may be merit in this call. Auburn has won three in a row and four of five from Florida, including a 20-17 victory in the Tigers’ last road game against the Gators. But Auburn is just 1-4 straight up in its last five visits to Florida.

Here’s a roundup of all the spreads, moneyline and point totals for the week, with an overview of some of the best odds.

All games are on Saturday, Oct. 5th, unless otherwise indicated.

Week 6 Opening Spreads

The Tigers are 6-0 both straight and against the spread in their last six games. Auburn is also 5-0 ATS in its last six meetings with the Gators. Last week, Auburn belted Mississippi State 56-23 as 7.5-point home favorites.

Hold Those Tigers

This matchup is the only one to pit two top-10 teams against each other during Week 6 of the NCAA schedule.

Defensively, Auburn has held Florida to just 10 points per game during the three-game winning streak against the Gators.

Though they’re also a perfect 5-0, and on a nine-game winning streak since last season, the Gators have proven to be substandard as a betting favorite.

Florida is just 2-3 ATS this season. Last week, Florida blanked FCS Towson 38-0, but failed to cover as the 40-point chalk.

The early money in this game was on the Tigers, pushing an opening line of Auburn -2 up to -3.5. But lately there’s been more action the Gators, so that line may move back in Florida’s favor.

Auburn is 4-2 ATS in its last six games against SEC opposition.

Irish Expected to Ground Falcons

Looking to build on their solid home win over #23 Virginia after their heartbreaking loss at #Georgia, the Bowling Green Falcons are being served up as the sacrificial lambs to the #9 Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Notre Dame are whopping 45.5-point favorites at home in this one.

The 3-1 Irish are 14-0 SU in their last 14 home games and 7-0 SU in their last seven October games. Notre Dame is also 7-1 ATS in its last eight Week 6 games.

The 1-3 Falcons are 4-1 ATS in their last five Week 6 games, however. The last time the Irish faced a MAC opponent, they didn’t come close to covering. In 2018, Notre Dame was a 34-point pick over Ball State but squeaked out a 24-16 verdict over the Cardinals.

LSU vs Utah State Sports Massive Total

Another bunch of SEC Tigers are expected to pile up the points as #5 LSU plays host to Utah State. The total on this game is set at 73 points.

The total has gone over in LSU last seven games overall and in the Tigers’ last six Saturday games. LSU is #1 in the nation in scoring offense, averaging 57.8 points per game.

But the total has gone under in five of Utah State’s last seven games.

Best of The Rest

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh takes his dismal record against ranked teams to the field as the #19 Wolverines play host to #14 Iowa. Harbaugh is 8-11 against ranked teams. But he’s 7-5 when Michigan is at home.

California (4-1) fell from the ranks of the unbeaten in last week’s 24-17 loss to Arizona State. The Bears also lost quarterback Chase Garbers to a shoulder injury.  They face a 3-1 #13 Oregon team that’s unbeaten since a close Week 1 loss to Auburn.
