A battle of unbeatens highlights the three-game slate of Mid-American Conference action on Wednesday, Nov. 11, as Toledo hosts Western Michigan at 8 p.m. ET.

Elsewhere, Eastern Michigan heads to Ball State (7 p.m. ET) and Northern Illinois hosts Central Michigan (8 p.m. ET).

Eastern Michigan vs Ball State Week 11 Odds

Both Eastern Michigan and Ball State took one-score losses last week in their respective season openers.

Recent history appears to be on Eastern Michigan’s side in this one, as the Eagles are 5-1 against the spread in their past six games at Ball State (including a 42-20 win in 2018 as 2.5-point favorites).

Ball State did cover in last year’s matchup at Eastern Michigan, winning by six as two-point underdogs.

What works to Eastern Michigan’s detriment is the fact that Caleb Huntley is on the other side of the ball.

Huntley, Ball State’s star running back, rushed for 130 yards and two scores last week against Miami (OH). Against Eastern Michigan last year, he rushed for 152 yards.

Given the head-to-head results from 2019 and the presence of Huntley, Ball State is the play here. Oh, and the over is 7-2 in the past nine meetings.

Central Michigan vs Northern Illinois Week 11 Odds

Central Michigan posted an impressive win last week against Ohio, while Northern Illinois is likely still licking its wounds after allowing 49 points in a loss to Buffalo. Looking at the Chippewas vs. Huskies odds, it’s no wonder why Central Michigan is the favorite.

The Chippewas racked up 427 yards of offense last Wednesday, balanced well between passing (243) and rushing (184). The issues on defense for the Huskies were less about the defense itself — which allowed 357 yards — and more about the offense’s four turnovers that led to scores the other way.

If the turnover trend continues, Central Michigan would look like an enticing play. They probably are anyway, given that they’ve covered in six consecutive matchups with Northern Illinois.

Central Michigan quarterback David Moore is eligible to return following a suspension, which gives the Chips more versatility under center. He probably won’t be needed though, given how well the offense was run by Daniel Richardson in his absence.

Toledo vs Western Michigan Week 11 Odds

The winners of last week’s biggest blowouts face off in a game that should give an early indication of the MAC West division frontrunner. The Toledo vs. Western Michigan odds are tight — and rightfully so.

How much weight can be put into a couple blowout wins? Toledo dusted Bowling Green and Western Michigan trounced Akron, both of which are bottom-dwellers in the MAC East division. For now, those victories essentially cancel out.

So instead, let’s look at how these teams have fared against each other recently. Toledo has the ATS edge, having covered in the past three matchups (all three of which were straight up wins as well).

Toledo has a new starting quarterback this year in Eli Peters, but he’s a senior with plenty of comfort in the Rockets’ offense. The team’s potent running game, led by Bryant Koback and Shakif Seymour, features the same cast of characters.
