  • College football fans are in for a special Saturday with big games all over the place beginning at noon ET on Saturday 24, 2021
  • Three games that we have our eyes on are Notre Dame vs Wisconsin, Texas A&M vs Arkansas and West Virginia vs Oklahoma
  • See the best player and team scoring props for these games below

Saturday will be a big one in the College football world with Notre Dame and Wisconsin going at it right off the bat at 12:00pm ET on FOX. At 3:30pm ET, two more ranked opponents will do battle as SEC rivals Arkansas and Texas A&M go toe to toe on CBS. When all those are over we’ll see an undercover good one on ABC with Oklahoma hosting West Virginia.

In terms of spreads, Wisconsin is favored by 6.5 points in the noon game while Arkansas is getting 5 points from Texas A&M. West Virginia opened as 19-point underdogs only to be bet down to +17, which is interesting. As far as totals go, the only “odd” move was in the West Virginia vs Oklahoma game where the line went from 59.5 all the way down to 55.5 even though most of the action came in on the over.

Player props are becoming a more popular way to bet football and now we are now seeing them all the time in the college football ranks. DraftKings has given us a few to choose from on either side for all three of Saturday’s games. This is where we will focus our attention today.

Jack Coan Throws TDs

So far this season Jack Coan has looked every bit the part of a Notre Dame signal caller. Like a guy who actually help Notre Dame run the table and get into the College Football Playoff. I’m not saying that’s going to happen, just that if it doesn’t, it won’t be Coan’s fault. He is a dime specialist and it seems like every week we see another sweet touchdown pass.

Notre Dame has their toughest opponent yet in the Wisconsin Badgers. Defense is where it’s at when we’re talking Badger football especially up front. So far this season they are holding opponents to 1.8 yards per rush attempt which is good for sixth best in the nation.

If Notre Dame is going to score points in this one they will likely come through the air. I don’t expect a ton of points but a couple touchdowns isn’t out of the question. So far this season, Coan has thrown at least two touchdowns in every game he’s played. If that streak continues Saturday, he’ll cash a +135 player prop.

The Pick: Jack Coan Over 1.5 passing touchdowns (+135)

Jarrett Doege Will Toss TDs

Jack Coan won’t be the only signal caller to light up the scoreboard through the air on Saturday. West Virginia’s Jarrett Doege will certainly have his opportunities Saturday against the Oklahoma Sooners. This isn’t Doege’s first rodeo either, it feels like this kid has been in college for 12 years. He hasn’t, but he has been throwing touchdowns since 2017.

Doege is not in the MAC anymore but he also isn’t a freshman. So far this season, he’s tossed at least two touchdowns in two of the three games he’s played. The only time he didn’t was against Maryland when Leddie Brown took two of them for himself on the ground.

That’s highly unlikely to happen again as the Oklahoma run defense is not bad this season. They’re not quite Wisconsin but they are only allowing 2.8 yards per carry to their enemies. As 17-point dogs, West Virginia will be in throw the ball mode all night. The Sooners allowed Micheal Pratt to throw three touchdowns a few weeks ago. Why not Jarrett Doege Saturday night?

  • The Pick: Jarrett Doege Over 1.5 passing touchdowns (+150)
  • College Player Prop Record: 1-7 -7.05 units
