Week 7 on the college football calendar continues on Saturday, with another full slate of games. 16 of the top-25 teams will be in action, and player props for the biggest collegiate stars are available to wager on.

The slate features two contests between ranked teams (#11 Kentucky vs #1 Georgia, and #12 Oklahoma State vs #25 Texas), as well as #5 Alabama’s bid to rebound from a shocking loss.

Young Passes All Over Mississippi State

The current Heisman Trophy front runner has exceeded 2.5 touchdowns in all but one of his six starts. After an embarassing loss to Texas A&M in Week 6, the Crimson Tide will want to send a message to the College Football Playoff committee. Don’t expect them to take their foot of the gas, which should lead to plenty of red zone opportunities for Young and Co.

The sophomore leads the nation in red zone passing touchdowns this season, and the matchup with the Bulldogs is not one to fear. Mississippi State is surrendering the fifth most passing yards in the SEC and has already coughed up 10 touchdowns through the air in only five games.

Hooker Dominates on the Ground

Our next target is the over on rushing yards for Tennessee’s Hendon Hooker. The dual threat QB has seen his rushing attempts increase in three consecutive weeks, and is coming off a 20-carry game versus South Carolina.

The senior is averaging 4.3 yards per carry, but has busted a run of 19 yards or longer in four of his five starts. The Volunteers-Ole Miss Rebels contest features an 82.5-point total, the highest by far of any game on the slate, and with Ole Miss favored by only 2.5-points, online sportsbooks expect Tennessee to be able to move the ball at will.

The Rebels defense meanwhile, is coughing up 193 rushing yards per game. They allowed Arkansas QB KJ Jefferson to rack up a season-high 85 rushing yards last week, and also yielded 79 yards on the ground to Louisville QB Malik Cunningham in Week 1.
