However, Philadelphia must overcome a number of enormous challenges. After emerging as one of the NFL’s highest scoring teams over the final month of last season, the Eagles offense has sputtered this time around, averaging just under 20 points per game through Week 3.
Carson Wentz has emerged as a lightning rod for criticism, and with good reason. Wentz has struggled horribly with his accuracy, connected on just 59.8% of pass attempts, and just three scoring passes against six picks. Miles Sanders has been one of the bright spots during Philly’s shaky start, running for 95 yards in each of his two appearances this season, and adding 48 total receiving yards.
