Tomorrow night in Cleveland, the Browns (3-3) will host the Denver Broncos (3-3) in a game that already has big implications in the AFC playoff picture.

The Browns are currently two-point favorites. That number opened at Cleveland -5.5, but shrank significantly when it was announced Browns starter Baker Mayfield would miss the game and Case Keenum would start instead.

Sportsbook Apps and Registration

The process of signing up for a sportsbooks is straightforward as long as prospective customers have their personal information available and are physically located in a state where online betting has been legalized. Note that some promotional offers can only be claimed through sportsbook apps. If you are currently on mobile, follow the links below to get to the site of your choice where you can start the download process:

In order to register at any sportsbook, customers must:

  • provide their full legal name, date of birth, residential address (in the relevant state), email address, mobile phone number, and social security number;
  • be at least 21 years of age at the time of registration.

Once the registration process is complete, customers will have to make a deposit in order to begin betting. None of the promotions currently available can be claimed without depositing. The minimum deposit amount varies by sportsbook, but is usually in the $5 to $10 range.

If and when customers attempt to withdraw funds, they will have to verify the identity (if they haven’t already) by uploading copies of certain pieces of identification, and verify their address in the relevant state.

DraftKings Promo

DraftKings sportsbook has two promotions relevant for Thursday Night Football. The first gives new customers a chance to bet on any team to win at +4000 odds. The max bet is $5, so the max winnings is $200.

The second is a straight-up $1,000 risk-free bet that new customers can use on any NFL game.

Both promos are only available on the customer’s first real-money wager and customers cannot claim both. The bonus money is paid out in free bets, not as cash. Note that free bets are not equivalent to cash. Winning wagers placed with free bets only return the profit, not the original stake.

FanDuel Promo

FanDuel also has two promos available for Thursday Night Football. The first gives customers a chance to bet on Teddy Bridgewater throwing for a single yard. If he does, customers will get $100 in bonus money. To claim this promo, customers need to place $1 on the Denver moneyline as their first real-money wager. If Bridgewater finishes the game with one or more passing yard, customers will get the bonus money regardless of the outcome of the game.

FanDuel’s second promo is basically identical to DraftKings’: customers can get a $1,000 risk-free bet. If a customer’s first real-money wager is graded as a loss, the sportsbook will credit the customers’ account with the same amount as the losing wager (up to $1,000). The bonus money is, again, paid as free bets, not as cash, which is the industry standard these days.
