Blackwood is suspected of having a bum heel still. His form has been as bad as the Devils defense (3.39 goals per game allowed). It seems as if all the season-long problems evaporated over the weekend for Boston. The scoring, even the secondary scoring, was prominent. Boston played better and better defensively as the Buffalo game went along. Also, the goaltenders were pretty sharp in net.
