Juve Perfect in Return To League Play

Juve posted a 4-1 rout of Torino on Saturday to remain perfect in four matches since the Serie A schedule resumed last month, and extend their lead over second-place Lazio to seven points with just eight dates remaining on the league schedule.

The Old Lady have been dominant in their return to play. With Saturday’s decisive victory at home to Torino, the club has now outscored opponents by a wide 13-2 margin during their current 4-0-0 win-draw-loss run, with eight of those goals coming over two home dates.

The offensive explosion by the eight-time defending league champions comes on the heels of a shaky performance in Coppa Italia action in mid-June, when they played Napoli and AC Milan to scoreless ties. Juve have encountered little fierce opposition in recent Serie A matchups, winning seven straight since dropping a 2-1 decision to Hellas Verona back on February 8.

Dybala Sidelined

It has been the club’s top goalscorers that have led the attack in Juve’s recent surge. Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala have combined to score eight of the 13 goals scored over the past four league matches.

Ronaldo’s offensive outburst now leaves him with 25 goals on the season, second among Serie A strikers, and a -133 bet to score a goal at some point in Tuesday’s matchup at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

Overall, Dybala has found the back of the net in six of the Old Lady’s past seven contests, but will be forced to miss this week’s contest due to suspension. The Argentine forward’s absence comes at a bad time for Juve, which will be aiming to win four in a row on the road in league play for the first time since March 2019.

AC Milan Desperate for Points

While Juve aim to take another step toward claiming yet another Serie A crown, AC Milan remain desperate for points in their bid to earn a berth in next season’s UEFA Europa League as they prepare for Tuesday’s matchup as +240 home underdogs.

The Rossoneri did Juve a big favor by knocking off Lazio 3-0 on Saturday, and have now earned 10 of a possible 12 points in four matches since league play resumed.

And following SSC Napoli’s 2-1 win over AS Roma on Sunday, Milan is now positioned to gain sole possession of fifth on the league table, at least temporarily,  with a win over Juventus on Tuesday. A victory would lift Milan past both Napoli and Roma, who each sit just two points up on them on the table.

Rossoneri Vie for Rare Win Over Juve

Milan have suffered just two losses in 14 matches across all competitions on home turf since the end of September. But while the club has avoided defeat, they have struggled to consistently win during that stretch, picking up just six home victories and going 4-4-2 in league action.

Success in dates with Juventus has also been rare, with Milan earning just a single point in 10 overall meetings with the Old Lady since October 2016, including five clean sheet defeats. However, with so much on the line as the season winds down, and some recent steady defensive performances, plenty of value exists in Rossoneri playing this shorthanded Juve squad to a draw on Tuesday afternoon.

Picks: Draw (+235); Ronaldo to score anytime (-133)
