Barcelona has a perfect pace in the Spanish La Liga and will try to keep it that way when they host Real Sociedad this Tuesday at 2 PM ET, for match day number six of the domestic league, at Camp Nou stadium.

Barca smashed Rayo Vallecano on Saturday with a 4-0 result and became the most scoring team in the tournament with 18 goals in five games, an average of three scores per match. Pedro Rodriguez scored a hat-trick against Vallecano; Lio Messi didn’t score.

“We know that Vallecas is a difficult place to come. They have a competitive team, but we managed to find the spaces and score the goals,” Pedro told Gol TV afterwards.

“I am happy with the overall work of the team. In the personal aspect, obviously I am happy too, but I need to give my thanks to my teammates,” he added.

Real Sociedad tied against 0-0 Malaga and hasn’t won since the opening week against Getafe. They have four games in a row without a win in the tournament.

“If you sit back, the game is very long, and you lose. We know who we face, but we cannot be defeated on the field. We want to play a good game and take strength from there,” Real Sociedad Jagoba Arrasate told reporters at a pre-match press conference.

“We have found it hard to score, and the goal is the hardest thing in football, so the best players are the attackers. In some games, we have had a lack of success and in others, a lack of clarity in ideas. At Camp Nou we will have to present our best version.

Barcelona scored five goals in two of the last three matchups they played at home against Real Sociedad. Barca is a huge favorite listed -750 in the moneyline; a ‘Pericos’ win pays +1400 and a draw +625.
