- 2018-19 champion Djokovic, the top seed, faces unseeded American Denis Kudla

The two players who’ve accounted for seven of past nine Wimbledon men’s singles titles will both be on court Friday. Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray are each featured in third-round matches at the All England Lawn Tennis Club.

Andy Murray, the 2013 and 2016 Wimbledon champ, is continuing along the comeback trail from a major hip ailment. He’ll take the court at 11:45am ET as a +225 underdog against Canada’s Denis Shapovalov.

Big Week For Korda Family
On the weekend, Sebastian Korda’s older sister Nelly, 22, won the LPGA Championship, the first major win of her pro golfing career. Meanwhile, her 20-year-old sibling is making his mark on the grass courts of Wimbledon. Sebastian Korda is playing at Wimbledon for the first time.

Already, Korda has upset #15 seed Alex de Minaur 6-3, 6-4, 6-7(5-7), 7-6(7-5) in first-round play. He followed that up with a 7-5, 6-4, 6-4 straight-set sweep of qualifier Antoine Hoang in the second round. World #50 Korda hit 42 winners and broke his opponent’s serve six times in the victory over Hoang.
Korda reached the quarterfinals of the grass-court event in Halle, Germany. He beat World #10 Roberto Bautista Agut and Kei Nishikori in that event.

Britain’s Daniel Evans, the #22 seed, has come through two rounds without dropping a set. He’s just 16-11 on the year but 6-2 in grass court competition. World #26 Evans reached the quarterfinals of grass-court events at Nottingham and London Queen’s Club this year.
Evans is the hometown favorite. He’s the best bet to join Murray as the only British men to win the Wimbledon singles title since the Second World War. He’ll be playing his match on center court and the eyes of the entire UK will be on the outcome. That’s an awful lot of pressure.
Pick: Sebastian Korda (-103); Korda 3-2 (+540)
Bautista Agut Battling Back
Generally among the world’s top grass-court players, 2021 is proving a struggle for Bautista Agut. The 2019 Wimbledon semifinalist was 1-2 on the surface coming into Wimbledon. He’s won twice at the All England Club. However, it hasn’t come easily for the Spanish player who is ranked 129th in the world all-time on grass (32-15, .681).
In the first round, #8 seed Bautista Agut required four sets to get past Australian John Millman 6-2, 3-6, 6-3, 7-6(7-4). The second round proved to be even more of a battle for the Spaniard. He needed five sets to oust world #49 Miomir Kecmanoivc of Serbia 6-3, 6-3, 6-7(3-7), 3-6, 6-3.

World #62 Koepfer of Germany was winless on grass this year before his two victories at Wimbledon. He took out #27 seed Riley Opelka in Round 1 in straight sets. Koepfer, though, was forced to go five sets to topple Kwon Soon Woo in second-round play.
Pick: Roberto Bautista Agut (-250); Bautista Agut 3-1 (+300)
Instant Replay for Tiafoe, Khachanov
For the second time in three years, American Frances Tiafoe and Russian Karen Khachanov will clash in the third round of men’s singles competition at Wimbledon. Expect a different outcome this time, though.
In 2018, Khachanov defeated Tiafoe 4-6, 4-6, 7-6(7-3), 6-2, 6-1. However, Tiafoe is coming into this match riding a hot hand. He’s won two rounds without dropping a set.
The biggest win of his career 🙌

Tiafoe opened the tournament by stunning #3 seed Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-4, 6-4, 6-3. It was his first career victory over a top-five player. In the second round, he swept Canada’s Vasek Pospisil 6-4, 6-4, 6-4.
Khachanov, the #25 seed, needed four sets to defeat Mackenzie McDonald in Round 1. He’s been forced to play at least one tiebreaker in each of his matches so far.
Pick: Frances Tiafoe (-148); Tiafoe 3-1 (+370)
