The Best March Madness Sweet 16 Bonuses, Promos, and Odds Boosts at Sportsbooks
- The Sweet 16 tips off Saturday, March 27
- One sportsbook is offering 100-1 odds on any team to win their Sweet 16 matchup
- See all the bonuses, odds boosts, and promotions available for March Madness’ Sweet 16 round
If you started this year’s March Madness tournament off by betting favorites, your bankroll likely took a little beating. Underdogs went 27-16 against the spread through the first four days of action (including the First Four). Hopefully your response on the second day of Round 2 wasn’t to jump on the dogs, as your bankroll would have taken an even bigger beating. Favorites finished the opening “weekend” strong, going 7-1 against the spread on Monday.
If that was you, I’m happy to report some great offers, bonuses, and odds boosts available for the Sweet 16 that will help soften the blow. But even if that wasn’t you, and you’re up since the tournament started, you’re of course allowed to jump on these sweet deals as well!
Below you’ll find all the best offerings from DraftKings, FanDuel, and more sportsbooks for the Sweet 16.
Sweet 16 Promotions, Bonuses, and Boosts at Sportsbooks
*Only available to first-time depositors / new customers.
The bonuses, promotions, and odds boosts above were all taken Friday, March 26. You can receive full details on each promotion/bonus/boost at each respective sportsbook. You can find more boosts at our odds boosts page, which we update daily with boosts across all sports.
DraftKings’ 100-1 March Madness Promotion
If you’re not already a DraftKings customer, this promotion alone is plenty of reason to become one! Of course, this promo comes with a very small risk and some terms:
- Only available to new customers
- Max bet is $1
- User must make a first deposit of $5 or more
- This offer excludes live bets, parlays, free bets, cash out bets, and voided bets
- Must choose your game to boost before placing the bet
- Promotion is live until April 5th and can be used on anycollege basketball games throughout the Sweet 16, Elite Eight, Final Four, and Championship game
What’s the best way to use this promotion? You want to either bet Gonzaga to beat Creighton, as the Bulldogs are the heaviest favorites in the Sweet 16 at -1000 odds, or Arkansas to beat Oral Roberts, as the Razorbacks are currently listed at -670 odds to advance odds at DraftKings.
That’s what the odds say are your best plays. But you can also check out all the college basketball odds if you’re fearing upset in either of those.
FanDuel’s 30-1 Sweet 16 Promotion
FanDuel’s promotion is a little riskier, but it also comes with a bigger reward. Here are the terms:
- Only available to new customers
- Max bet is $5
- User must make a first deposit of $10
- Only available through FanDuel’s app
- Must choose your game to boost before placing your bet
You’re playing this one out the same way as above. Take one of the heavy favorites on the moneyline, and enjoy the 30-1 payout.
William Hill’s $2,021 Risk-Free March Madness Bet
This one is a little different from the two we discussed above, and you’re forced to make a much bigger deposit to reap the full benefits of William Hill’s promo. Here are the terms:
- Only available to new customers
- Only available to customers in VA, MI, CO, IN, and TN
- Users in NJ, IA, and WV have $500 risk-free bets available
- Users deposit however much they want to wager on this risk-free bet, up to a maximum of $2,021
- The first bet you place will be the risk-free wager
Since you’re not getting 100-1 or 30-1 odds on any bet in this one, you have a decision to make. Do you want to take the “safe” choice and bet a heavy favorite on the moneyline? Do you want to be a little riskier and wager it on a spread or total at -110 odds? Or do you want to go full risk and bet a dog on the moneyline?
You can get Creighton at +700 odds at William Hill right now. I’m certainly not saying this is the best idea, but a $2,021 bet on those odds would result in a $14,147 profit. On the other hand, a $2,021 bet on Gonzaga to win, which is much more likely to happen, would result in a profit of just $103.73.
Of course, if you do lose your bet, your account will be refunded with the amount you risked.
