Wilson Looks Almost Unstoppable
Wilson has been the talk of the league over the first two weeks of the season. His numbers are all gaudy. In wins against New England and Atlanta, he has thrown nine touchdown passes, while averaging 305 yards per week. He’s averaging 9.7 yards per completion. Only Lamar Jackson (9.8) YPC is better. The slippery Wilson has also rushed for 68 yards on eight carries for an 8.5 yard average.
The chemistry Wilson has with Tyler Lockett is almost perfect. Wilson has targeted Lockett 16 times, and Lockett has caught the ball 15 times for 159 yards.
More importantly, the 31-year-old seems to be playing with as much quickness and energy as any of the league’s younger quarterbacks. His efficiency is near perfect. It’s too early to draw last conclusions, but Wilson is playing as well as he ever has. He is playing like an MVP, an award he hasn’t yet won. And that is a hopeful sign for Seattle’s postseason aspirations.

Cowboys Energized by Dramatic win Over
The Cowboys enter Sunday’s game against Seattle with overflowing confidence, thanks to a come-from-behind, last-second 40-39 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Quarterback Dak Prescott helped the Cowboys erase a 20-point deficit to win on a field goal as time expired.
Prescott became the first player in NFL history to passed for more than 400 yards and rush for three scores in a single game. Prescott finished with 450 yards passing, meaning he comes into Sunday’s game with as much swagger as Russell.
The Cowboys have talked all week about building off that unlikely win. Both the Cowboys and Seahawks feel good about themselves.

Seahawks Receive Good Injury News
Early in the week, Seattle showed a multitude of players on the injury list. Defensive end Rasheem Green will miss at least three weeks. However, by the end of the week, defensive end Benson Mayowa (groin), cornerbacks Quinton Dunbar (knee) and Neiko Thorpe (knee), plus tackle Cedric Ogbuehi (pectoral) were the only players listed as questionable.
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll seemed optimistic that Mayowa and Dunbar would play Sunday. Ogbuehi hasn’t played yet this season. Thorpe isn’t likely to play.

Cowboys Could Survive a Shootout
Russell Wilson has historically struggled statistically against the Cowboys. He has averaged 154 yards passing in five career outings against Dallas
But even if the Cowboys can’t shut down Wilson, they have enough offensive weapons to put up a big number against the Seattle defense. The Seahawks have surrendered 55 points in their two victories. Meanwhile, Prescott has thrown for more yardage than Wilson and he has yet to toss an interception.
This might be a week to take the over and the Cowboys.
Pick: Dallas Cowboys +5 (-110)
