Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles (2-4) fly to Sin City to battle the Las Vegas Raiders (4-2) Sunday. Kick-off from Allegiant Stadium is scheduled for 4:05 pm ET on FOX. Kenny Albert and Jonathan Vilma will be on the call in what should be a good one.
The Eagles are coming off of a 28-22 Thursday night loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a game that wasn’t as close as the final. On top of the loss, they said goodbye to longtime tight end Zach Ertz, as he was traded to the Arizona Cardinals after the game.
Meanwhile the Raiders, playing their first game in a few years without head coach Jon Gruden, laid the wood 34-24 to the Denver Broncos.
The Raiders are 2.5-point favorites in this one. The total hangs at 49 at many outlets meaning bettors are expecting some points in this game. As always, there are a ton of player props to go over which we will look into now.

Dallas Goedert: Free Man
The talk of the NFL for a day or two was Zach Ertz being traded to the Arizona Cardinals, opening the door to Dallas Goedert season. People have been waiting for this moment for years and the day is finally here. The question now is, will Goedert be ready to assume the role?
My guess is yes.

The Eagles like to throw to the tight end position and it’s been like that for years. They’ve had two viable fantasy options at the position for a couple years now which is wild for a tight end. Only nine teams have targeted the position more so far this season.
Philadelphia is playing the perfect opponent Sunday given that the Raiders can’t cover the tight end. On the season, only one team has given up more receptions to the position and only five have given up more receiving yards. This is a smash spot for Goedert.
On top of matchup, we should have game script on our side Sunday. The Raiders are 2.5-point favorites and looked good last week in their first game without longtime head coach, Jon Gruden. If they can make the Eagles chase points, Goedert should go over his receiving yards prop.

Who Scores?
It’s touchdown time people and all we have to do is find a guy on the board that we think will score a touchdown at some point in this game. How hard can that be? Given all I have said about Dallas Goedert in the previous section, it makes sense to take him to score too.
He’s always been a target in the red zone and it’s been that way since 2018.

The Eagles have targeted their tight ends in the red zone 11 times this season. The entire rest of the team has only seen 13 so they like the tight ends down there. Now that Zach Ertz is gone, it seems reasonable for Goedert to eat even more in the red zone. They have to throw him a bone in his first game as the solo tight end.
