It is Thanksgiving week in the NFL with three games on Thursday, 12 on Sunday and one huge NFC matchup on Monday Night.

Let’s focus on two of the games on Sunday with good odds to cash in, and the great matchup between two ‘short’ quarterbacks as Russell Wilson and Drew Brees meet on Monday Night Football:

Chicago Bears +1.5 at Minnesota Vikings -1.5. Game Total: 49.5.

The total has gone OVER in 6 of Chicago’s last 7 games on the road, and the total has gone OVER in 5 of Minnesota’s last 5 games at home.

The Bears looked flat against the Rams in all phases of the game last week; they can’t be trusted.

“Right now haven’t done a good job of consistently stopping the run. We have to try and find a way to do a better job,” Bears coach Marc Trestman said. “I know that you may not see that happening in practice. I think the guys are in the right place, but we didn’t get it done. I am not going to go into the technical aspect of it, but I do know this: I think we are putting in the time and the effort and we just have to continue to work at it. I know we will. We have to do a better job next week.”

The Bears and the Vikings played a 61 point game in the first meeting this season.

Prediction: Over 49.5.

Denver Broncos -4.5 at Kansas City Chiefs +4.5. Game Total: 48.5.

The Broncos need to prove they still are the AFC best team after a blunder in New England.  Peyton Manning needs go back of being Manning after he looked flat and uncomfortable against the Patriots.

“Hated the way that ended, not getting a chance to get our hands on the ball,” Manning said. “We helped them with some short fields. It’s hard to do that to our defense.”

The Chiefs will be without Tamba Hali and Justin Houston, two main pass rushers that will only help the Broncos cause.

You could see it after the game,” coach Andy Reid said about Hali’s ankle. “We tried to keep the swelling down, but it was puffing up a little bit after the game when we were in the locker room there. Overnight, it even swelled up more We’ll just wait and see.”

Kansas City is 2-4 ATS in its last 6 games when playing at home against Denver.

Prediction: Broncos -4.5.

New Orleans Saints +5.5 at Seattle Seahawks -5.5. Game Total: 47.

This game is definitely a statement game for the Seahawks; they will try not only to win, but to show they are the best in the NFL playing at home.  Seattle didn’t play last week as they prepared for two weeks for this matchup.

Russell Wilson is 13-0 playing at CenturyLink Field since he came into the league.

The Saints beat the Falcons on Thursday Night football but didn’t look especially great doing it.

Prediction: Seahawks -5.5.
