One of the most interesting games in the 2014 March Madness second round has the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Baylor Bears clashing this Friday, at 12:40 PM ET at the AT&T Center, in San Antonio.

Baylor lost the Big 12 tournament final against Iowa State 74-65; the Bears zone defense was completely ineffective in the second half of the game. “We weren’t tired,” Baylor senior guard Brady Heslip insisted. “They just made some really tough plays.”

“We don’t have time to look back on this game at all,” Baylor coach Scott Drew said. “We need to focus, get better and get ready for the NCAA tournament. The worst thing we could do is dwell on this game and let that affect us in the NCAA tournament.”

Nebraska has won eight of the last 10 games, but they wasted an 18 point lead against Ohio State in the Big Ten quarterfinals, and ended eliminated 71-67.

“Unfortunately, I thought we beat ourselves,” Nebraska coach Tim Miles said. “You have to credit Ohio State with their pressure late. In the last 13 minutes,  they really did an excellent job of getting us rattled.”

Baylor is a 3.5 point favorite over the Nebraska in the March Madness Betting Lines. The Cornhuskers are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games vs. a team with a winning SU record. The Bears are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 NCAA Tournament games as a favorite, and 8-3-1 ATS in their last 12 games overall.
