The Los Angeles Clippers are not playing around despite they already clinched the division title, and they want to keep their winning path as they host the Dallas Mavericks this Thursday at 10:30 PM ET at the Staples Center.

The Clippers were 17 points down in the third quarter on Wednesday in Phoenix, but they came back won 112-108 stunning the Suns, which are in a battle for one of the last Western Conference playoffs spots, along with Dallas.

“It’s nice, but it doesn’t really mean much,” Chris Paul said of winning the Pacific. “We won the division title last year and lost in the first round. Last year we would have gone into the (Phoenix) game knowing we had a chance to win the division. Now we don’t care, it’s all about the bigger picture.”

The Clippers’ victory over the Suns was their 17th over the last 19 games; they are 4-0 against the spread this week.

On the other hand, Dallas needs a win after dropping one at home against the Warriors; the defeat came with a heartbreaking last second shot by Steph Curry on Tuesday. “It’s disappointing, but we’ve got to get ready for the (Clippers) game now,” Mavs coach Rick Carlisle told the team’s official website. “I’m not big on analyzing how disappointing it is.”

The Clippers are four point favorites for this matchup against the Mavericks. Keep in mind the LA Clippers are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games when playing at home against Dallas.
