The Los Angeles Clippers need to show they are the real deal when they visit the best record in the Western Conference, the Oklahoma City Thunder, this Sunday at 1 PM ET at Chesapeake Energy Arena.  The game will be national broadcasted by ABC.

The Clippers have had a rough week losing to the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday, followed by a loss to the Memphis Grizzlies 102-96 on Friday Night.

Los Angeles was eliminated in last year’s postseason by the Grizzlies, and there is a rivalry going between the two franchises, but the Clippers don’t know how to get on top of it.

“When we don’t score, that’s fine,” coach Doc Rivers said, “but we’ve got to be able to get stops. Our second unit didn’t kill this offense, they gave up 32 points defensively, and that that’s what hurt us.”

The Thunder looks to bounces back from a loss as well; they underperformed against the Miami Heat on Thursday and ended up giving up a 103-81 loss, their fourth at home this season.

The game allowed point guard Russell Westbrook to be back from his knee injury; he shot 4 of 12 from the field with 16 points in 24 minutes.

“I’m just going to keep getting him better, and as the season goes along, as he gets more comfortable in game shape, we’re going to see a better Russell every night,” Thunder coach Scott Brooks said.

The Thunder is a 4.5 point favorite over the Clippers.  Oklahoma City is 5-12 ATS in their last 17 games when playing at home against LA Clippers.
