Manchester United will fight not only to advance to the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals, but to save their coach’s job as they host Olympiacos down 0-2 in the series.  The game is Wednesday at 15:45 PM ET at Old Trafford.

United needs to win by a three goals difference is they want to keep in the competition; a 2-0 win will take this game to the extra time, and a win by the Greeks or a draw of any kind will take the visitors to the other round.

“David Moyes is suffering and I don’t like to see any manager suffering. I have sympathy for him,” the Olympiacos manager Michael said. We know he works hard, but sometimes results don’t mirror the hard work done”.

“It’s nothing personal to David Moyes. It’s a big opportunity to knock Manchester United out of the competition, but David Moyes is not an enemy.”

Olympiacos has visited Manchester United twice in the Champions League back in the 1999 and 2000 season, but failed to score both times, losing 3-0 and 4-0.

“My future has not changed one bit,” Moyes told a news conference on Tuesday. I have got a great job and know exactly the direction I want to go in”.

“It has not been the season we wanted but I have ideas I want to put in place and the most important thing is Olympiacos”.

The UEFA Champions League moneyline has Man United listed -210 to win $100; Olympiacos is +550 and the draw is +325.
