Two undefeated teams clash in what should be the most entertaining game of the College Football week 8, when the Florida State Seminoles visit Memorial Stadium to take on the Clemson Tigers, this Saturday at 8 PM ET.

The Tigers are third in the nation’s poll, and the Seminoles are fifth; this is the first time two top five teams from the ACC meet in the regular season since 2007.

“It may be the biggest game in ACC history. We don’t know,” said Clemson defensive end Vic Beasley. “But our goal is to win a national championship.”

“Obviously, we know it’s a big game, got a lot of national relevance, conference relevance and all that,” Clemson coach Dabo Swinney added.

Florida State didn’t play last season, meaning they are rested and has two weeks to focus on this game. “I’m trying to get the ACC to give me 13 guys and give me two more linemen so we can block them,” Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher said. “I’m serious, they bring pressure.”

Clemson played against Boston College and suffered quite a bit to beat them 24-14.  The Tigers didn’t cover the 24 points in the spread as favorites.

Clemson is 5-0 straight up and against the spread in its last 5 games when playing at home against Florida State. The Seminoles are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games on the road.

The betting lines have Florida State as a 3 point favorite on the road.  The game total was set at 64 points.
