The Atlanta Falcons won’t forget the beating the Giants gave them last season in the playoffs that’s why they look for respect this Sunday, at 1 PM ET at the Georgia Dome.

The current lines have the game at a pick’em, but it started with the Falcons as a one point favorite.

“They have two new coordinators in (defensive coordinator) Mike Nolan and (offensive coordinator) Dirk Koetter,” coach Tom Coughlin said. “They do bring their own personality and style to the way that they’re playing, so there is a difference.”

The Giants are 5-0 straight up and 4-1 against the spread when playing against Atlanta.

“They’re a little bit mixed up,” defensive end Justin Tuck said. “I thought at the end of last year, they were a little bit more leaning on the pass.

“They want to keep the chains moving, and they’re kind of a check-with-me offense. It’s going to be a chess match a little more than it was last year.”

Matt Ryan thinks the champs are the best in the NFL. “The Giants are probably the best in the league,” Ryan said. “They’ve got three top-tier pass rushers, and we know that from playing them last year. They’ll present us with a difficult challenge. Their front four is very solid. For four quarters, they rush the passer as well as anybody in the league”.

New York doesn’t know if they will have running back Ahmad Bradshaw who is having problems with a knee injury.

I would take the Giants to win straight up. They are a superb bet on the road, and Atlanta still have to show plenty for me to back them down.
