It’s a quiet Monday on the MLB schedule, with just seven games on the docket. But there are still plenty of player props to consider.

The battle of the Sox between the Boston Red Sox and Chicago White Sox concludes at Fenway Park with the traditional 11:10am ET start time due to the annual running of the Boston Marathon.

The Oakland Athletics will need to wait a day to see if they can extend their eight-game winning streak. Oakland’s home contest with the Minnesota Twins was postponed until Tuesday.

The table below outlines the main hitter and pitcher props available for April 19th action.

May Day

Los Angeles Dodgers right-hander Dustin May has gone over 5.5 strikeouts in both of his starts this season.

He’s averaging 1.36 strikeouts per inning and 12.23 strikeouts per nine innings.

Pick: Dustin May over 5.5 strikeouts (+105)

Cutch Is Clutch Against Gausman

It’s been a rough start for Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Andrew McCutchen. The 2013 NL MVP is batting a dismal .170.

However, he’s knocked three hits over his last three games. McCutchen is a lifetime .600 hitter against San Francisco’s Kevin Gausman, with a homer and six RBI.

Pick: Andrew McCutchen +1.5 hits (-189)
