The Milwaukee Bucks (40-17, 16-12 away) will take their 11-game win streak into the Windy City on Thursday as they clash with the Chicago Bulls (26-32, 16-12 home) at the United Center. The tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM ET. Keep reading for the Bucks vs Bulls picks.

Milwaukee is coming off an OT win over an undermanned Boston Celtics team on Tuesday where they had to overcome an early deficit. Chicago on the other hand has lost five in a row and will be looking to end their cold skid before the All-Star festivities.

Bucks vs Bulls Odds

Bucks Keep Rolling

Milwaukee is easily the hottest team in the Association at the moment and now trails Boston by just one game for first place in the always competitive Eastern Conference. While the Bucks do rank 12th in PPG, they continue to make their living on the defensive end, sitting third in the league.

Defense wasn’t exactly a strong suit on Tuesday though as Mike Budenholzer’s squad allowed the Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown-less C’s to push them to the absolute brink. Thankfully, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday went off. The Greek Freak poured in 36 points and grabbed 13 boards, while Holiday matched his career-high with 40 points. That included an 8 for 12 clip from downtown.

After a slow start, the Bucks stepped it up a notch in the second half and looked to be on their way to a win in regulation before Sam Hauser drained a ridiculous triple to force an extra period. Milwaukee proceeded to outscore Boston 15-9 in overtime, with none other than Holiday hitting an eventual game-winning trey with 25.2 seconds left. That’s now 11 straight wins for the Bucks, who simply cannot be stopped lately.

Chicago in a Rut

It hasn’t been a pretty campaign for the Bulls, who were rumored to potentially blow up their roster at the trade deadline. But, they ultimately stood pat. Although their 26-32 record is by no means impressive, Chicago is still in the mix for the last play-in spot in the East.

That being said, losses like Wednesday aren’t exactly going to help them. The Pacers are nipping at their heels in the play-in race and beat Billy Donovan’s squad thanks to a dominant second half. The Bulls were outscored 75-55 in the final two periods and played this one without DeMar DeRozan, who is battling quad soreness.

Zach LaVine scored 35 while Coby White added 25 off the bench, but Chicago struggled to get defensive stops, squandering a 16-point halftime lead. In fact, the Bulls were even up by 24 points at the end of the first quarter. This was truly a horrific loss. It doesn’t get much worse.

Bucks vs Bulls Picks

One could only imagine the Bulls will bounce back here. However, I don’t see them taking down the Bucks, whether DeRozan plays or not. He’s questionable. Milwaukee will roll into the break with a 12-game winning streak.

Pick: Bucks -7 (-110)
