  • As usual, it’s a busy Friday night in the NBA
  • On the second night of a back-to-back, the Lakers matchup with the Thunder, while the Suns host the Celtics
  • Read below for the best player props from Friday’s NBA games

Friday night’s NBA slate starts off in Charlotte and Indianapolis with the Hornets hosting the Kings and the Pacers welcoming the Mavericks. An intriguing contest between Brooklyn and Atlanta follows, as does an Atlantic Division duel between the Knicks and Raptors.

Coming off a surprise loss to Miami, the defending champion Bucks are taking on the surprisingly streaking Houston Rockets. Milwaukee is still favored by 8.5 for the matchup, of course.

Just like Milwaukee, the Lakers just fell to a weakened opponent in the Grizzlies. Los Angeles is looking to get back on track against Oklahoma City on Friday. Two exciting young cores meet as Minnesota hosts Cleveland, and the Boston Celtics are paying a visit to Phoenix.

Miles Bridges Rebounds & Assists Combo

The Charlotte Hornets are missing Jalen McDaniels and Mason Plumlee along with their starting backcourt and backup point guard. They are forced into playing smaller at times, and there are plenty more shots to go around with Terry Rozier and LaMelo Ball out.

Miles Bridges is one of the main beneficiaries of this. He could get some minutes at the five on Friday night, and failing that, he’s bound to spend a lot of time alongside PJ Washington in the frontcourt. Bridges naturally has a higher rebounding percentage when on the floor without McDaniels and Plumlee. His rebound rate is at its highest in minutes with Washington.

This points and rebound combo might still look ambitious. Bridges is averaging 27.4 points and rebounds per game this season, and he’s only gone over this total in two of his last nine games.

Sacramento and Charlotte both rank in the top 10 in pace over the last 10 games, though, guaranteeing plenty of extra possessions. The Kings are fifth-worst in rebound rate across that span, too.

Bridges should get up 15+ shots. He’s going to be a threat on the boards. Take the over here.

  • Pick: Miles Bridges over 30.5 points and rebounds (-104)

Siakam Flourishes Against New York

Only six teams have a worse defensive rating than the New York Knicks across the last 10. Pascal Siakam is averaging 22.4 points per game over his last four games, along with 7.6 rebounds. Toronto’s weakness at the five leads to a lot of smaller lineups with Siakam and Scottie Barnes in the frontcourt, opening up rebound opportunities for the former All-Star.

The natural matchup for the Knicks is to throw Julius Randle at Siakam. Randle has dropped off defensively this year, however, which is reflected in New York giving up nine fewer points per 100 possessions when he’s not on the floor. RJ Barrett might take the assignment at points, but Siakam’s length should give him an advantage. If he ends up with a Knicks big, his quickness should open up good looks or create fouls.

Siakam is playing good basketball of late, and there’s nothing to suggest that will stop against the Knicks. There’s potential for big rebound numbers again with Precious Achiuwa listed as day-to-day.

Having gone past this total in points alone twice this season, the over is good value here even if there’ll be a relatively low possession count.

  • Pick: Pascal Siakam over 28.5 points and rebounds (-113)
