Knicks vs Nets Props – Best Player Prop Bets Monday, March 15th
- The New York Knicks take a short trip across the bridge to visit the Brooklyn Nets on Monday night
- Both teams are in the playoff picture in the East, so this game has more meaning than it has in years past
- See the player props for the game available below
New York will be up for grabs when Julius Randle and the Knicks battle it out with James Harden, Kyrie Irving and the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center Monday night on ESPN (8pm ET).
The Knicks are coming into this one on a high, after beating up on the Thunder 119-97 on Saturday in Oklahoma City. Brooklyn knows the feeling as they have only lost once since February 10th. They took care of the Pistons 100-95 in their last game.
The Nets have had their way with the Knicks recently winning five of the last seven meetings. The most recent was a 116-108 win back in January. The current odds have the Nets favored by 7.5 points in this matchup, and there are more than enough props to consider.

RJ Barrett Has Arrived
The Knicks play at the slowest pace in the NBA. They like to play out of half-court sets and use as much of the shot clock as possible which can limit player’s production in the stat sheet. But tonight they are almost certain to see a few more possessions. The Nets play at the league’s eighth-fastest pace and are favored by 7.5 points. The player that will benefit the most is RJ Barrett.

In his last six games, the third-overall pick of the 2019 draft has shown why the Knicks selected him that early. He has been decisive in going to the rim and it has shown up in the box score as he has scored more than 20 points in all but one of the six games. In his last game against the Thunder, he scored a career-high 32 points.

One area where the Nets struggle is on the defensive end of the floor. So far this season, only five teams are worse in terms of defensive efficiency. They can afford the defensive lapses since they have the most efficient offense in the association.
Just a couple games ago they allowed Victor Oladipo and John Wall to score in the 30s, so they can, and will give up points to the guard position. Bettors are getting a discount on Barrett tonight at only 17.5 points and it would be wise to take it.
- The Pick: RJ Barrett Over 17.5 Points (-112)
Julius Randle is an Absolute Beast
There are not many players in the NBA that have seen the type of improvement Julius Randle has seen this season. He’s averaging career highs in points, rebounds and assists which is a big reason why the Knicks are in the playoff picture. No one in the NBA has played more minutes than he has this season and the Knicks are sure to lean on him tonight.

Randle leads the Knicks in usage so he is the obvious candidate to see a bump in scoring in a faster paced game. When the Knicks played the Nets earlier in the season, Brooklyn had no answer for Randle as he hung 30 on them. At 23.5, his point total seems a little low this time around given the circumstances.
- The Pick: Julius Randle Over 23.5 Points (-110)
