Further proof that everything is bigger in Texas: check the Dallas Maverick’s injury list as they welcome in the East’s top team Tuesday.

The star pairing of Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis is banged up — not a good omen when hosting the Brooklyn Nets, who are coming off a loss to the Bulls last time out.

Brooklyn will look to avoid its first back-to-back losses on the season, while sending Dallas to their fifth straight home L.

They’re a 2.5-point road favorite at the American Airlines Center. Tip-off is at 7:30pm ET, and is the first of an NBA on TNT double-dip.

Injured Mavericks vs Nets

Dallas’ franchise star is a walking band-aid at the moment. Luka Doncic has been battling a sprained left knee and left ankle soreness, and now has an injured left thumb.

Wingman Kristaps Porzingis is hobbled with a left knee contusion. Both are questionable for Tuesday night.

Dallas played without Doncic and Porzingis for the first time this season Saturday night in a 97-90 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.

If that’s not enough, Tim Hardaway Jr (right knee contusion), joins the star pairing as questionable against the Nets. He was the leading scorer against the Grizzlies, scoring 29 points and seven rebounds. As a team, Dallas only hit 31-for-92 from the field, a lowly 33.9% clip.

Willie Cauley-Stein is confirmed out for personal reasons.

After starting out the year 6-1 at home, the Mavericks have dropped four straight, and they’ve struggled offensively, scoring 96 points or less the last three home outings. They’re 11-11 on the season, tied with the Nuggets for seventh in the West.

Durant Balling, Harden Stalling

With Kyrie Irving still sidelined, there wasn’t much concern for Brooklyn, as they still boasted prior league MVP’s Kevin Durant and James Harden.

But even with the team sitting atop the East at 16-7, there is a looming cloud on the horizon if Harden continues his yo-yo level of play.

Durant has held his end of the bargain, averaging a league-best 28.6 points per game, while firmly entrenching himself as one of the top three players in the NBA bar none.

Against the Bulls, he had 28 points, 10 boards, four assists and a pair of blocks.

Harden had a game-high 14 assists while adding seven rebounds, but he was a woeful 5-for-21 from the field for 14 points. It’s the 12th time in 23 games the Beard has scored less than 20 points.

Even in a shortened season last year, where he played only 44 games, Harden posted sub-20 just 11 times.

Harden is shrinking in Brooklyn’s losses, which happen to be against the high-end squads: Milwaukee, Chicago (twice), Golden State, Phoenix, Miami and Charlotte.

He’s putting up 16.1 points, 8.6 assists and 7.7 rebounds in those losses, shooting just 33.7% from the field and 31.3% from downtown.

Nets vs Mavericks Pick

Both teams have been anti-betting darlings, ranking near the bottom of against the spread records.

Brooklyn is 8-14-1 ATS — only the Lakers have a worse mark. Dallas is bottom-4, with a 9-13 mark.

If you’re following Brooklyn’s pattern of beating up on the teams they should, missing any of Doncic, Porzingis and Hardaway Jr will be a tough one to overcome for the Mavericks. They are 0-4 this season without Doncic, and 3-4 without Porzingis on the year.

Dallas is 25th in scoring in the NBA at 104.5 points a night, while the Nets hold the seventh-best defensive rating in the league.

While they are 11th in scoring defense, Brooklyn ranks second in opponent field goal shooting at 42.9% and first in three-point shooting, limiting teams to a lowly 30.9% clip.

They should be able to clamp down in Big D. If Harden yo-yos in even an above average manner to support KD, BK should come away with the win.

The Pick: Nets -2.5 (-110)
