Bluejays’ Betting Analysis
A team that’s been tabbed with preseason Final Four aspirations, it’s been a rough start for Creighton.
Their latest setback was an 83-80 loss to the BYU Cougars, their fourth straight loss.
The Bluejays were manhandled on the glass, getting outrebounded 50-29. BYU made hay with those extra opportunities, grabbing 16 offensive boards and piling up 21 second-chance points. Creighton was overwhelmed in the paint, getting outscored 42-24.

Arthur Kaluma led the team in scoring with 27 points, including 4-for-7 from downtown, while Brayden Scheierman had 13 points and 11 boards.
Creighton was missing center Ryan Kalkbrenner, who sat because of illness. The Monday status for the reigning Big East defensive player of the year — who leads the team in scoring (15.9) and blocks (1.6), and second in rebounds (7.8) — is still unknown.
A scoring defense that is tied for 179th in the NCAA at 68.8 points per game, Creighton has seen that number balloon to 74.8 points during their recent skid.

Arizona State continued their hot streak with a 75-57 win over the SMU Mustangs last time out — a game they trailed by as many a 11 in the first half.
