It’s not often that there’s a track record of matchup data leading into an NCAA Tournament game. That certainly isn’t the case as the USC Trojans square off against the Oregon Ducks in an all-Pac 12 Sweet 16 matchup on Sunday, March 28th.

These two schools have met on the court every season since 1964-65, usually playing each other twice in a single campaign. During the 2020-21 campaign, USC downed Oregon 72-58 on February 22nd.

Tipoff for Sunday’s game at Bankers Life Fieldhouse is 9:45pm ET. TBS is carrying the broadcast.

Check out the updated injury reports, as well as other betting options prior to game time, but let’s start with the lines for player props.

All odds as of Mar. 26th

Prop #1: Eaddy From Long Range

Trojans guard Tyler Eaddy is averaging 13.5 points per game this season. However, he went off for 24 points this season when USC beat Oregon. It was among three games this season in which Eaddy has topped 20 points. Only a 29-point effort against Washington State ranks ahead of his game against the Ducks,

Eaddy was especially active and productive from 3-point range as USC defeated Oregon. He scored the first three baskets of the game, all from beyond the arc to give the Trojans a quick 9-0 advantage.

By the end of the night, Eaddy ended up posting season highs for shots (11) and baskets (six) from 3-point range. So far, it’s the only time he’s attempted double digits from long range.

Eaddy is averaging 2.0 3-pointers per game. He’s drained a minimum of two shots from outside the stripe in two of his last three games, four of the past six and 19 of 31 games this season.

The bar on Eaddy 3-pointers is set at 1.5. The price isn’t spectacular (-186) but it should pay out nonetheless.

The Pick: Tyler Eaddy over 1.5 3-pointers made (-186).

Prop #2: Duarte On The Dish

Guard Chris Duarte leads the Ducks in points (17.0), steals (1.8), blocks (0.8) and assists (2.5) per game this season. It’s the latter number that is of the essence. That also happens to be where the total bar is set on Duarte assists for this game.

There wasn’t a lot for Oregon to celebrate during that regular-season loss to USC. However, Duarte did dish out four assists during the setback.

It’s one of six games this season in which Duarte has passed out at least four apples. The Canadian collected a season-high seven assists in Oregon’s second-round rout of Iowa. USC will seek to contain Duarte’s scoring ability. That’s when he becomes dangerous as a distributor of the ball.

The Pick: Chris Duarte over 2.5 assists (-103)
