St. Francis (PA) Red Flash Road Woes

Even though they have they have the 3rd worst overall record in the conference, the Red Flash are actually tied for 4th in league play. Imagine how much better off they’d be if they could find a way to have a semi-respectable mark on the road.

A 1-12 record as visitors has prohibited the Red Flash from making any significant move up the standings. They also haven’t had much success playing at the Pope against their namesake the last few seasons. It’s been over five years since the Red Flash have beaten the Terriers as visitors.

Defense has been a particular sore spot for the Red Flash during this campaign. With an adjusted defensive efficiency of 115.7, they rank 352nd in the KenPom rankings. That places them in the bottom 4% of all teams in the country.

Taking that into account, the over has been a good wager on St. Francis PA contests recently, with opponents attacking with eager anticipation. Six of the last seven Red Flash games have gone over the betting line.

St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers Engage in Low-Scoring Games

When taking a peak at the Terriers recent contests, buckets have actually been hard to come by, not only for them, but for the opposition as well. The under has hit in six of their last seven games.

In addition, sportsbooks have always set the bar for the over/under pretty low in games involving the Terriers. It’s been eight games since they were involved in a contest that topped 130 points. Their leading scorer is guard Rob Higgins, who averages just 11.4 points per outing.

According to KenPom, only five teams in the country have a worse adjusted offensive efficiency. Regardless of the lack of offense, this squad manages to get it done on their home court. They’ve won four of their last six at the Pope and covered the spread in 66.7% of those contests as well.

St. Francis (PA) vs St. Francis (BKN) Prediction

If you’re looking to bet on a game between contenders in the odds to win the NCAA tournament, this is not it. However, if you want to place a wager that has a good chance of making you some cash, we’ve got a good pick for you.

Each side are polar opposites when looking at the over/under records, so betting on the total is cancelled out. What we do love, is a bet on the Terriers to win at home. With flattering moneyline odds of -110, this is too attractive a wager to pass up.

The Red Flash have not shown they can get wins on the road, so our prediction is to take it to the bank with a Terriers straight up victory.

Pick: St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers Moneyline (-110)
