One of the most interesting games of the weekend faces the UCLA Bruins visiting the USC Trojans, this Saturday at 8 PM ET at the Los Angeles Coliseum, in the NCAAF rivalry weekend.

The Trojans are on a five game winning streak and coach Ed Orgeron is trying to win the head coaching job for next year.

“Getting beat. Losing. Terrible taste in our mouth,” Orgeron said during this week’s teleconference. “Against our rival team. Not playing well. Letting down the Trojan family. Not a very good feeling.”

“We know that there is a lot more emphasis on this game just because of the rivalry and the tradition behind it,” said USC quarterback Cody Kessler. “But we’re going to treat it just like any other week.”

The Bruins lost to the Arizona State Sun Devils last week, and dropped the good momentum they had with three wins in a row.

“We’re very close. We’re an incredibly young football team,” head coach Jim Mora said. “We’re moving up the mountain, we just have to get more mature and that’s a process. There’s no magic fairy dust you can sprinkle on a freshman and say, ‘OK, now you’re a junior.'”

USC has won seven straight meetings at the Coliseum against UCLA since 1997. UCLA is 1-7 ATS in its last 8 games when playing on the road against Southern Cal, and the total has gone UNDER in 5 of UCLA’s last 7 games when playing on the road against the Trojans.

USC is a 3.5 point favorite over UCLA for this Saturday.
