First things first, let’s address the elephant in the room. Taking #9 Miami as an underdog when they’re paying +102 on the moneyline may be soft, but it counts.

They are paying plus money and offering great value. While this may not be the windfall you were hoping to find, that pick is coming later we promise.

With that out of the way, let’s explore the greatness of Hurricanes quarterback D’Eriq King. He led Miami to a comeback over NC State last week with 430 yards passing and five touchdowns. He now has 16 touchdowns and only four interceptions on the season.

Justin Fields may be stealing all the Heisman Trophy buzz, but King has a legitimate shot if he keeps playing like this. Virginia Tech is a formidable opponent, but they shouldn’t be able to stop King from putting up points in bunches.

This isn’t only about liking King, it’s also about the opportunity to fade Virginia Tech. They already have three losses on the season, including most recently to the Liberty Flames. A top ten team with the clear best player on the field is paying plus money and it’s a wager you need to consider.

#2 Notre Dame vs Boston College Odds

Irish in Letdown Spot?

If you were underwhelmed by the Miami pick, here’s the makeup selection. Notre Dame is coming off the program’s biggest win under head coach Brian Kelly against top ranked Clemson.

Sure, the Tigers were without Trevor Lawrence, but it was still a massive victory to keep the Fighting Irish undefeated and vault them to #2 in the rankings. This isn’t a mindless pick thinking Notre Dame will come out flat against a lesser opponent, there’s a real path to them losing this football game.

Boston College has Phil Jurkovec at the quarterback position and there’s a lot to like about his game. He has 2,083 yards passing on the season with 15 touchdowns and only four interceptions. The Notre Dame transfer is also completing 62.1% of his passes heading into this Saturday’s contest against his former team.

On the flip side, Ian Book has played the role of game manager for the Irish. He has 1,535 yards passing this season with only eight touchdowns while completing 60.3% of his passes.

Is there a chance Notre Dame held on to the wrong quarterback? Jurkovec is out to prove that’s a resounding yes and he can do just that by pulling off the upset as almost two touchdown home underdogs.

Colorado vs Stanford Week 11 Odds

Colorado Looking for 2nd Straight Win as a Dog

Colorado was a 6.5-point underdog to UCLA last week and well, they blew the doors off the Bruins. The Buffaloes racked up 48 points on their way to the upset victory over Chip Kelly and company.

There’s a path to victory in the second week of PAC-12 action that focuses solely on Colorado’s two key players on offense.

Quarterback Sam Noyer and Running Back Jarek Broussard make up the impressive two headed monster for the Buffaloes. Both contributed equally in the opener handling the ball 31 times. Noyer attempted 31 passes, completing 20 for 257 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions.

On the ground, Broussard had 31 carries for 187 yards and three scores. The symmetry may not always play out quite like that, but the game plan is clear, get the ball into both Noyer and Broussard’s hands early and often.

If they stick to that formula against Stanford, they could make you a pretty penny if you’re aggressive enough to take them on the moneyline at +190.
