College Football Week 3 Parlay Picks
In our Week 3 college football parlay for Saturday, we have two Big 12 favorites that are being undervalued on the moneyline, plus an SEC favorite that features a veteran quarterback with a history against his opponent. By parlaying these three CFB teams together, we get +170 odds at DraftKings.
Kansas State vs Missouri
Kicking off our Week 3 college football parlay is a Big-12 favorite that may be the most underrated team in the country. The No. 15 Kansas State Wildcats are only -185 moneyline favorites against a Missouri team that they beat 40-12 last season.

Kansas State has put up 40-plus points in each of their two games thus far, plus feature an experienced quarterback in Will Howard. Missouri hasn’t looked impressive in their two games thus far, including a 23-19 victory over Middle Tennessee in Week 2.
There were concerns about Kansas State’s run game in the offseason following the loss of star RB Deuce Vaughn, but the team is averaging nearly 200 YPG on the ground. Facing a Missouri rush defense that ranks bottom-five in the SEC, we don’t see the Tigers being able to keep pace.

South Alabama vs Oklahoma State
We’re staying in the Big 12 conference for our second addition to our Week 3 college parlay. The Oklahoma State Cowboys offer solid moneyline value as -265 home favorites against South Alabama on Saturday. Mike Gundy’s team has won 15 of their last 16 games at Boone Pickens Stadium.
The Cowboys are still trying to determine their starting quarterback, but they’ve put up 27 points in each game so far while holding opponents to an average of 14 points per contest. South Alabama impressed in a win over SE Louisiana last weekend, but they lost 33-17 in their lone matchup against an FBS opponent (Tulane).
While this will be the most talented Jaguars team the Cowboys have faced to date, the previous two meetings in 2017 and 2018 were decided by an average of 39.5 points (in OK State’s favor). We expect the Cowboys to get the job done here at home.

Arkansas vs BYU
Concluding our Week 3 college football parlay is a moneyline wager on Arkansas in its non-conference game with BYU. Last year’s matchup saw the Razorbacks win by a 52-35 score in Provo in which the Razorbacks racked up 644 yards of total offense.
KJ Jeffersons is back at quarterback for Arkansas, and he’s the primary reason we’re backing the ‘Hogs in our CFB parlays. The senior pivot is completing 73.8% of his passes for 382 yards and five touchdowns thus far. Jefferson accounted for five total TDs in the game vs BYU last season.
BYU has underwhelmed thus far, beating Sam Houston State only 14-0 in Week 1 before outgaining Southern Utah by just 48 total yards in a 41-16 Week 2 victory. The Razorbacks are 13 straight up in their last 14 against independent schools, and we project their leader Jefferson to lead them to another W Saturday.

James Madison is a 2.5-point underdog in its Saturday matchup with Troy, and we’re teasing the Dukes in our CFB Week 3 teaser. James Madison recently secured a huge comeback win against Virginia, largely due to the performance of quarterback Jordan McLeod.
Troy is coming off a 42-13 defeat to Kansas State in which they only managed 286 yards of total offense. The play of quarterback Gunnar Watson is concerning as the senior is only completing 57% of his passes for five TDs and one interception.
Our power ratings Put Troy as a one-point favorite on a neutral field, so this spread is pretty accurate when you give the Trojans a couple of points for home-field advantage. With JMU’s McCloud having a strong start to the season, we like the Dukes to stay within a score, if not win this outright.

Syracuse vs Purdue
Another addition to our college football Week 3 teaser is a play on Purdue as home underdogs against Syracuse. The Orange are on upset alert this week after winning 32-29 over Purdue last season in one of the more underrated games of the year.

Purdue is finding its rhythm under new coach Ryan Walters, winning 24-17 over Virginia Tech last weekend and holding the Hokies to under 300 yards of offense. Syracuse has cruised to two victories over inferior opponents, but they haven’t faced a pass rush like the one Purdue will bring Saturday.
The Orange have earned their spot as the favorite in this matchup, but Purdue has more raw talent on their roster. Syracuse is being slightly based on their performance against weaker opponents, and we project Purdue’s defense to keep this game within reach for the home team.
