Michigan vs Ohio State Early Odds & Prediction

Just as expected when the season began, Michigan (11-0) visits Ohio State (11-0) in Columbus with the Big Ten East title on the line. The Buckeyes are nine-point favorites.

Both teams struggled to stay unbeaten Saturday. Michigan slipped past Illinois 19-17 in Ann Arbor and Ohio State downed Maryland 43-30 on the road.

Jake Moody gave Michigan the win when he kicked a 35-yard field goal with nine seconds left. The Wolverines played most of the second half without star running back Blake Corum, who sustained a knee injury.

Ohio State trailed Maryland 13-10 at halftime before Dallan Hayden rallied the Buckeyes in the second half by scoring three touchdowns. Hayden finished with 146 yards rushing on 27 carries.

Michigan upset Ohio State last year. The Buckeyes will have payback on their minds and cover the sizable spread.

Pick: Ohio State -9 (-110)

Notre Dame vs USC Early Odds & Prediction

Fresh off wrapping up at least a share of the Pac-12 regular season title, USC (10-1) hosts Notre Dame (8-3) in their longtime intersectional rivalry. The Trojans are favored by five points.

USC has won three games in a row since its only loss of the season at Utah, including getting past archrival UCLA 45-42 on Saturday. Notre Dame rolled over Boston College 44-0 for its fifth straight win since beginning the season 3-3.

USC’s Caleb Williams passed for a career-high 470 yards Saturday and two touchdowns. He also rushed for 32 yards to give him 502 yards of total offense.

The Trojans’ Austin Jones had a season-high 120 yards rushing.

Cornerback Benjamin Morrison led Notre Dame’s strong defensive effort with three interceptions. The Fighting Irish also forced two fumbles.

Notre Dame scored on each of its eight possessions. Logan Diggs rushed for 122 yards.

The Fighting Irish is coming on strong and figure to give USC all it can handle.

Pick: Notre Dame +5 (-110)

That’s Outta Line

Tennessee is a 17-point road favorite over Vanderbilt on Saturday. However, recency bias has something to do with that number being a bit low.

Tennessee (9-2) lost to South Carolina 63-38 on Saturday night on the road. Earlier in the day, Vanderbilt (5-6) upset visiting Florida 31-24.

Despite the different results, Tennessee is certainly more than 17 points better than Vanderbilt, even on the road.
