Aggies, Hogs Meet as Unbeatens
Texas A&M tuned up for its SEC opener with a 34-0 blanking of New Mexico on Saturday to open a season 3-0 for the first time since 2016.
Zach Calzada threw for 275 yards and three touchdowns in his first career start. Calzada was thrust into the job the previous week against Colorado when Haynes King broke his right leg on Texas A&M’s second possession.

The Aggies defense held Terry Wilson, a transfer from Kentucky, to 33 yards passing.
Arkansas notched an easy 45-10 home victory over Georgia Southern on Saturday. KJ Jefferson passed for a career-high 366 yards and tied a career high with three touchdowns.
Arkansas put the game away on a 91-yard pass from Jefferson to Treylon Burks with 11:18 left in the third quarter. It was Jefferson’s final touchdown pass and gave the Razorbacks a 38-10 lead.

Texas A&M was expected to be good this season, Arkansas not so much. However, the Razorbacks look legit and should be able to get under the six-point spread if not win the game outright.
ND, Badgers in Midwest Clash
Notre Dame has not looked sharp in winning its first three games, including Saturday when it downed Purdue 27-13 for its 26th straight win at home.
Kyren Williams was the difference maker as he had two long touchdowns, including a 51-yard run with 6:05 remaining that sealed the victory. Williams also caught a 39-yard TD pass from Jack Coan while rushing for 86 yards on 11 carries.

Coan was sacked four times and completed just 15 of 31 passes while finishing with 223 yards and two TDs. The victory was the 105th in Brian Kelly’s 12-year career at Notre Dame, tying him with Knute Rockne as the winningest coach in school history.
After losing to Penn State 16-10 at home to start the season, Wisconsin bounced back to thump Eastern Michigan 34-7 before having its bye week.
This will be an emotional game for Coan, who transferred from Wisconsin after last season. However, the well-rested Badgers should cover the five-point spread against the inconsistent Fighting Irish.
Georgia Looks Undervalued
#2 Georgia opened a 32-point home favorite over Vanderbilt, which is a substantial number for an SEC games.
Quarterback JT Daniels returned to the lineup Saturday and led Georgia (3-0) to a 40-13 win over South Carolina in Athens. He had been sidelined the previous week with an oblique injury.
Daniels completed 23 of 31 for 303 yards, including touchdown passes of 43 yards to Jermaine Burton, 38 yards to freshman Adonai Mitchell and 4 yards to James Cook.

Vanderbilt (1-2) lost to Stanford 41-23 at home Saturday. The Commodores make the final margin look closer by scoring a touchdown on the game’s final play.
Georgia is clearly 32 points better than Vanderbilt, so look for that line to up between now and Saturday.
