The Green Bay Packers will try to see how they will survive without QB Aaron Rodgers for six weeks; their first task is against the Philadelphia Eagles, this Sunday at 1 PM ET at Lambeau Field.

Seneca Wallace is expected to be the starting QB for the home team; he threw 114 yards and one interception in the Monday night loss against the Bears last week.

“I’m relieved, no doubt,” Head Mike McCarthy confessed after he was expecting a season ending injury as a possibility. “How long? We don’t have our hands around a timeline yet, but I know Aaron is very optimistic and he’ll do everything he can to get back in a timely fashion.”

For the Eagles, it will be Nick Foles under center, who threw 7 TDs last week against the Raiders; however, Philadelphia’s issues go from their lack of a decent defense and their recent struggle running the ball.

“We look at it overall. Thank goodness we’re not in a fantasy league as coaches. It’s how productive is the offense and are we moving the ball. I’ve said it since day one, we’re an equal opportunity deal. If you want to let us throw it, then we’re going to throw it. If you want to let us run it, then we’re going to run it. If for some reason,  the running game is not working but we’re throwing the heck out of the ball, then we’ll continue to do that”, said coach Chip Kelly about their running game.

Philadelphia is 1-4 SU in its last 5 games when playing on the road against Green Bay, but 4-2 against the spread.  The betting lines have this game as a pick’em.
