The New England Patriots will look to bounce back with fury after losing to the 49ers last week as they visit Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars; Sunday at 1 PM ET.

The Pats lost to San Francisco 41-34 but left a good impression after starting really slow. They came from behind down by 28 and almost won the game. “We just spotted them 28 points,” Tom Brady said. “We fought hard, but you can’t play poorly against a good team and expect to win. We can’t miss plays that we have opportunities with”.

“I’m not smart enough to understand the 80 different things that can happen,” coach Bill Belichick said about to their possibilities to get the second seed in the AFC. “I don’t really care. There’s nothing we can do about any of them”.

“We had a pretty good streak there going of wins, and it feels pretty good when you’re on those winning streaks,” Brady said. “And then when you lose, it feels like you haven’t won a game in three years.”

Jacksonville might be the one who hasn’t won in three years as their last win came in November 25th against the Titans, losing 10 of the last 11 and hosting arguably the best team in the NFL.

“No one thought we’d be in this situation with only having two wins this late in the year,” linebacker Paul Posluszny said. “I think we have too many guys who can make plays and do things the right way. But for whatever reason, we haven’t been able to bring it all together to win.”

The Patriots are 14 point favorites despite playing away from home.
