The Colts clinched the 5th seed in the AFC conference and can’t go up or down with any of the results on Sunday, but a loss from the Texans will utterly chance the AFC scenario opening the opportunity for the Broncos and Patriots. Indy and Houston meet at 1 PM ET.
Indianapolis is 6-1 at home, and they beta the Kansas City last week to get that playoffs spot. “We had so many opportunities all game, especially on third down that we squandered,” Reggie Wayne said. “We wanted to get that done. That was the opportune time to do it”.

“Mission accomplished. That’s all I can say,” Bruce Arians said. “Without getting emotional again, knowing that (Pagano) is going to be back Monday, the work week shouldn’t be as stressful.”

“At times it looked a little bleak,” Arians said. “Guys hung in there, made plays when they had to make them. Offensively we struggled, and then put together a drive, like we have all year.”

Houston can’t afford to lose, or they will have to travel during the playoffs, and probably to Denver or New England in a possible AFC championship game.  The loss at home against Minnesota wasn’t expected.

“Very disappointing because we had a chance to line up here and get something done today,” coach Gary Kubiak said. “That doesn’t mean we still can’t get it done. That’s the most important thing.”

Arian Foster recorded 10 rushes for only 15 yards before leaving in the third quarter with an irregular heartbeat. He said he’ll be OK for Sunday.
