Super Bowl 48 was a one-sided affair where the Seattle Seahawks destroyed the Denver Broncos in every possible way, and gave Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos a loss they will never forget.  Well, despite the stakes are not that high this time, these two franchises will meet in week three of the 2014 NFL season at 4:25 PM ET, at the CenturyLink Field.

If the Broncos want some payback, they could have some by beating the Seahawks at their home, which is something only the Arizona Cardinals have done over the last two seasons.  The last victims were the Green Bay Packers, which saw themselves outplayed in the season opener.

The most impressive thing about Seattle is they showed they haven’t skipped a beat on defense, and they look more dangerous on offense.  QB Russell Wilson looks poised to become one of the best in the league with good decision, a great arm and tremendous legs.  In addition, they have WR Percy Harvin, who killed the Broncos in the Super Bowl, but saw little action in the regular season.

The Broncos looked impressive as well taking on the Indianapolis Colts.  QB Peyton Manning has a new toy in WR Emmanuel Sanders, who can play outside the numbers and in motion, making him a tough matchup to defend.

For this game the Seahawks open as 3.5 point favorites in the NFL betting spread; we will have to wait and see how the line moves day before the matchup.
